About Cathays Surgery
Cathays Surgery services include basic health screening (which includes a reading of blood pressure, urine, height and weight) and a variety of other services. The doctors and nurses on staff assist patients with acne, adult immunizations, antenatal care, child health, weight management, asthma, family planning and other nursing services. Cathays' Surgery serves the Cathays area and parts of Gabalfa, Lakeside and Cyncoed. Local student services include family planning, vaccinations, prescriptions, and sick notes. Their two main facilities with disabled access won ‘Surgery of the Year’ award in 1993.
