The surgery opened in August 2010. Dr Stephen Patten has worked in Castlebar for 4 years and is pleased to open the new surgery.

The Surgery covers Castlebar and also surrounding areas such as Turlough, Parke, Ballyvary, Belcarra, Ballintubber, Ballyheane, Islandeady, Glenisland

Biography:

Dr Patten qualified as a Doctor in 2001 from Kings College London (Medical Batchelors, Batchelor of Surgery MBBS). In 2005 he qualified as a GP having passed the examination to become a Member of the Royal College of GPs (MRCGP). He is also a Member of the Irish College of GPs (MICGP). In 2009 he completed a Diploma in Obstetrics and Womens Health (DOWH).

Special Interests include, family medicine, paediatrics and minor surgery.
