I've never felt inclined to review any place, never mind a Dr.'s office, but my experience here was so wonderful I thought others should know. I'm originally from the US, and have had asthma all my life. Throughout my childhood and adolescence, I've consistently been told there was nothing they could do to further help my asthma as I typically don't wheeze and my oxygen levels remain in the healthy range, however, I will have coughing fits so intense I throw up.
At one trip to the ER, when I was 19, a doctor tried to tell me I wasn't experiencing an asthma attack (despite my medical history) but anxiety, and try to prescribe me medication. I am used to fighting for treatment and being gaslit by medical professionals.
I saw Dr. Louise and cannot express enough how cared for and listened to she made me feel. She was personable and very knowledgeable, showing me a website for the Asthma Society of Ireland and explaining recent research suggesting other medication (which is what I typically used). She even texted me a link explaining how to use this kind of inhaler.
The office lady was also amazing as she walked me through how to file claims with my Irish insurance company. In my whole 25 years of life, this is the best care I've received in regards to my asthma and I am so thankful to have been taken seriously and given an effective treatment.
