Allergy Testing: Homeopathic allergy treatment is directed at the long-term strengthening of the natural immune system whereby the natural sensitivity of the patient to an antigenic stressor is eliminated as a result of desensitisation.  Allergy testing itself is done using Kinesiology (muscle testing) protocol which is applicable to both food and non food allergens and is also safe to use with infants as well as the elderly. The patient is asked to bring with them suspected items for allergy testing such as food items, cosmetics, facial and dental hygiene articles, perfumes, hair products, disinfectants, aerosols, pet dander, household dust etc Alternatively suitable standard allergens can be used from the sample bank of some 300 allergens retained by H4H at the Health Centre. Once the various allergies have been determined Homeopathicallergy treatment can be of great value of which there are three components i) Desensitisation in which the immune system is desensitised forthe particular allergen such that it can be readmitted to the diet without allergic resultsii) Symptomatic treatment in which the energy balance of the natural immune system is rebalanced so that it no longer reacts to the allergen. iii) A combination of i) and ii) above

Review First time i was here i wasn't even registered but my previous GP was off that day and I needed a doctor urgently as i had bad ear pain. Was seen by Dr. Sinead Cottor who was very friendly & very caring when i explained my problem. Turns out I had a problem with my jaw which was causing my ear problems. My previous GP couldn't find this problem so i changed to Dr.Cottor immediately and have been going there since as she is very efficient & is a very good GP. I have also recommended her to a lot of my friends & colleagues to go there if they are searching for a GP in the area. Also the front office staff are very welcoming and always try their best to accommodate the best appointment and a few times I have been seen as an urgent case and they have always been very good about it.Veronica, Ireland, 27 Sep 12

Review Mine is a complex case as Im suffering following an injury in 2004, Without Mehboobs persistance I would not have had the disgnosis of Complex Regional Pain Sysgtem, or the discovery of cervical kyphosis would have been missed, He's recommended physiotheraphy (works to a point) Osteopathy (still not sure what the outcome will be wih this as its on going - very sick after treatements, He support me with meds he feels will help give me a quality of life thats so missing now, He is always there to help, He investigates bloods in case something will come up to give some explanagion for some of my symptoms, Overall he's a cleaver dedicated doctor with a sole, We're lucky that he's our family docut for more than 15 years, ~ThanksAnne, Cork, 01 Oct 11
