Co-Founder & Co-Director of Dermaclinix Dr.Amrendra Kumar is the Director of DERMACLINIX and is considered amongst the best dermatologist and hair transplant surgeon in INDIA. He has done his MD in Dermatology from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), DELHI. He also has worked as a senior resident in the prestigious Post Graduate Institute for Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. After that he joined one of the largest hospital in delhi Safdarjung Hospital. Working in these apex institutes has provided him vast experience and knowledge in every field of dermatology whether it is hair transplantation or cosmetic surgeries or clinical dermatology Dr. Amrendra has proven himself as an expert. He is considered to be an an expert of Hair transplantation specially with FUE method. He has a rare distinction of doing megasessions and gigasessions with FUE method and specialized in body hair transplantation delivering great results. His constant endeavour to improvise himself enabled him to achieve very good results even in difficult cases like grade 7 baldness or scarring alopecia. With his technique and experience he can extract more than 1000 hair follicles per hour allowed him to finish the megasessions and gigasessions with ease. His aim to achieve very natural designing with maximum density and ensuring maximum grafts survival endowed him to reproduce good results in every patient. Vitiligo or leucoderma surgery is another area in which he has keen ineterest. He has received his training for vitiligo surgery under the guidence of Dr. Somesh Gupta (considered to be an authority in vitiligo surgery worldwide) during his tenure in AIIMS, New Delhi. He is at home in every kind of vitiligo surgery especially in the melanocyte keratinocyte suspension transplant which is considered to be the best surgical method for vitiligo of today. He has been able to achieve repigmentation of more than 95% in most of the cases with very good colour matching. Along with his colleague Dr. Kavish they have successfully developed new technique for vitiligo surgery i.e. body hair transplantation in vitiligo surgery with remakable results ,which has been now followed world wide. Apart from these newer techniques he is also an expert in other surgical methods for vitiligo surgery like suction blister grafting, ultra thin split skin grafting, punch grafting and many more. Dr.Amrendra Kumar has a vast experience of six years in Clinical Dermatology, Venereology, Dermatosurgery, Lasers and cosmetology from both the premier institutes of the country (AIIMS, New Delhi and PGI Chandigarh). His research topic was on acne vulgaris and Vitiligo (leucoderma). In clinical dermatology his interest areas are pediatric dermatoses, management of resistant acne, vitiligo and melasma. During his stint at AIIMS, New Delhi as junior resident and at PGI, Chandigarh as senior resident he not only gained vast experience in managing difficult dermatology problems but also did a lot of work in dermatosurgery (Hair transplantation, Acne scar surgery, Vitiligo Surgery, mole/nevus excision, Scar revision, and Ear lobe repair, nail surgery), Lasers (Hair removal, Pigmentation, Birth mark, Tattoo, Vascular lesions, and Skin resurfacing) and Cosmetology (Microdermabrasion, Chemical peeling, Microneedling and Fillers).
