St Marys House Dental Practice

Celine qualified from Trinity College, Dublin in 1981, having been awarded the Sheldon Friel prize for the best dental student in Ireland that year. She moved to England in 1982 and established her first practice in Lancing in 1985. She has worked locally ever since and took over at St Marys House in January 2007. She then oversaw a major refurbishment of the practice to bring it up to its current standard.

Celine takes pride in the personal rapport she is able to establish with her patients. This helps her to identify patients concerns and offer customised solutions tailored to individual needs.

Celine combines a passionate belief in promoting good oral health with the skill and expertise required for all aspects of cosmetic dentistry. She has completed a year of post-graduate study in implantology and attends courses regularly to keep up to date with new techniques and procedures.

Arthur attended the University of Pretoria, South Africa from 1985-1991 where he obtained a Bachelor Degree in Dental Surgery: BChD. Shortly after qualifying he was offered an associateship at a multiple practice in London. During 1995 Arthur decided to develop his own purpose-built practice and has been a principal in his own practices ever since. He joins St Marys House Dental Care as an associate working two days a week.

Due to his special interest in reconstructive work he has also undertaken postgraduate study in implantology and advanced restorative dentistry at the Eastman Dental Hospital. Although he enjoys all aspects of general practice, Arthur has focused on complex restorative and cosmetic procedures, attending courses both locally and abroad.

Currently he is a member of The British Restorative Society, British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, British Dental Association and British Dental Health Foundation.

Sandra qualified from Guy’s and St Thomas’ United Medical and Dental School in 1997. She has worked in private practice since 2000, including a year in New Zealand. She settled in Sussex in 2001 and has gained considerable experience in all aspects of general dentistry.

Sandras priority is to develop a good rapport with her patients so she can better meet their needs and expectations. She appreciates the importance of giving advice and information to patients to help them make the right decisions about their dental care.

She keeps up-to-date with all aspects of modern dental practice and is enthusiastic and motivated. She continues to work at a practice in East Sussex and joins us for two days a week.
