I am originally from London and qualified from Newcastle University in 1986 and have worked continuously in general practice in the North East. After working as an associate for a number of years I managed 2 successful practices in Sunderland and Durham. In 1994 I successfully completed the Diploma in General Dental Practice from the Royal College of Surgeons. As a member of the Faculty I demonstrate a continuing commitment to post-graduate education. I have been a very active participant in the Northern Dental Vocational Training scheme for the past 15 years and been a Trainer on many occasions.

I qualified from Newcastle Dental School in 2002, and achieved a Distinction in Restorative Dentistry and the James Coltman prize in Operative Dentistry. I have been working in general practice since qualifying spending the majority of the time in practices in Whickham, Sunderland and Durham. I work closely with the Northern Deanery as a trainer for Foundation Dentists. I am interested in dental implants and am currently undertaking a post graduate diploma from the University of Warwick in this field. My aim is to provide the highest quality of dental care, with a strong emphasis on preventative Dentistry.
