Kim Duthie RDN FETC LCGI FBADN qualified as a dental nurse from Kings College Hospital, Dental School in August 1976 and gained her National Dental Nursing exam in 1977. In 1982, newly married, and whilst working for Croydon Community Dental Service she embarked on a two year part time course studying for her Further Education Teachers Certificate. She qualified in June 1984 - the month she gave birth to her first son John, who was subsequently followed by Mark (1986), Neil (Aug 1988) and Ross (1991). She has just completed the ILM Level 5 Award in Management qualification. Kim works full time in the practice making full use of all her qualifications. As she is a qualified dental nurse ,she is a registered Dental Care Professional with the General Dental Council and has been a member of the British Association of Dental Nurses (BADN) since 1976, for which she was recently made a fellow of the BADN, and has been a member of the British Dental Practice Managers Association (BDPMA) for 15 years. Ian and Kims passion for their family dental practice shines through and as they are a long standing local Addiscombe family have become well known in the local community. Kim served for 20 years on the Shirley Park Residents Association, as the original secretary, and then as a road rep.
