Tim, the practice principal, qualified with honours at the Royal Dental Hospital, London in 1982. His career in dentistry has included hospital work, NHS care, teaching and private practice since 1987. His interests are dental implants and cosmetic dentistry and Tim has more than twenty two years experience in the dental implant industry. Tim accepts referrals for dental implants from dentists across the UK. He has undertaken many advanced courses in restorative dentistry, bone regeneration and implant dentistry in England, USA and Sweden. He also runs courses, lectures and teaches dentists in implant and cosmetic dentistry.

Birgitta graduated from Umeå University Dental School, Sweden, in 1987 and joined Elmsleigh House in 2000 after a period in general practice and teaching at Umeå Dental School. She is continuing to carry out research work at Umeå University where she obtained a PhD in 2004 and holds an associate professorship. Birgitta regularly lectures at scientific conferences internationally and publishes in scientific journals. Shes involved in various aspects of implant treatment and courses at the practice, from examination and treatment planning to prosthetic treatment. 

Anders qualified as a dentist at Ulmea University in Sweden in 1979. He started his oral and maxillofacial surgery career in 1987 by working in several Swedish and British hospitals and fully qualified in 1995. After qualifying Anders moved to Guildford and spent sixteen years working as part of the maxillofacial team at the Royal Surrey County Hospital.

Anders retired from his practice at the Royal Surrey in the summer of 2010 and now works solely as an oral surgeon in the private sector, concentrating on implant treatments and bone reconstruction. In his spare time Anders like to ski in the winter and play golf in the summer.

Hans-Dieter graduated from Albert Ludwigs University, Freiburg, Germany, in 1984 and completed a postgraduate degree in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at Indiana University School of Dentistry, USA, in 1993. He has a private practice in Germany, working in periodontics and implants and holds assistant professorships at the Universities of Würzburg and Münster. Hans-Deiter lectures throughout Europe and is also co-author of a book on Implant Dentistry.

Hania qualified at Guys Hospital Dental School, London in 1977, having also obtained an intercalated degree in oral physiology. Following a period in general practice, she completed a post-graduate degree in periodontology in 1987.

She has taught at University College Hospital Dental School and now limits her practice to periodontics being a reputed practitioner.

Cathleen practised general dentistry in Atlanta for two years, before moving to England in 1991 with her British husband. She enjoys treating patients of all ages for routine and cosmetic dentistry and has a particular interest in prevention and minimally invasive alternatives.

In her free time she enjoys activities with her husband and two teenage children including travel, particularly visiting lovely villages in the UK, city breaks in Europe and ‘beachy’ summer holidays in the USA with the chance to surf, snorkel and scuba dive. More routinely Cathleen enjoys going to the gym, reading good fiction and socialising with friends and family at the weekends.

Hugh qualified from the University of Bristol in 2002. Since his qualification his career has included hospital work, NHS care and private practice. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons, British Association of Oral Surgeons & the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry.

Hugh also has particular interests in oral & maxillofacial surgery and cosmetic techniques and decided the time was right to move into a private practice such as Elmsleigh House. Hugh joined the practice in September 2010.

Shashi qualified from the University of Glasgow in 1997. After general practice and oral and maxillo-facial surgery appointments in and around Manchester, he joined the Army and served for over 11 years in the Royal Army Dental Corps. 

During his time in the Army, Shashi completed postgraduate training with distinction in endodontics from the Eastman Dental Institute, London. On completion of this training, Shashi was responsible for teaching endodontics to Dental Officers of all levels of experience, both serving and civilian, working within the Defence Dental Services.

Joining Elmsleigh House in September 2010, Shashi brings a wealth of experience in both restorative and endodontic dentistry. He has a passion for providing the very best for his patients by working within an experienced team. 

Rhiannon qualified from Guy’s Hospital Dental School in December 1991. Since then she has worked in both NHS and private dentistry. Rhiannon offers the full range of General Dentistry and is passionate about prevention and conservation. She believes dental treatment should be minimally invasive and that patient comfort is paramount.

Keen to treat patients of all ages, Rhiannon has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry. She is committed to delivering clinical excellence, keeping abreast of emerging techniques and skills of modern dentistry.
