Derek qualified in 1998 from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa  and is an experienced, forward thinking dentist, committed to providing high quality dental care for his patients. He continues to grow this highly successful practice after taking over in 2003 and turning it into Christchurch Dental.
Derek studied Dental Implantology at the Eastman Dental Institute in London, enabling him to replace lost teeth with implants (a fantastic alternative to dentures), and is thrilled to be able to offer this life-changing treatment option to our patients.
