I was awarded an MSc in oral surgery at Kings College University of London in 1992. I gained my training towards becoming a registered specialist
in oral surgery from several oral maxillo-facial units including the Eastman Dental Institute and Kings College Dental Hospital in London,
Rotherham District General Hospital and Barnsley District General Hospital amongst many others.
I did a year long didactic course in dental implantology at the Tatum Institute at Harley Street, London in 2002 where I received training under direct
supervision from Hilt Tatum, the dental implant oral reconstructive pioneer who designed and introduced the first, two-stage titanium root form
(Dental Implant) system in the USA. I have also attended several mentoring courses in placing Ankylos (Dentsply Friadent) implants in the UK and
Germany and have attended on many occasions various Specialist Implant and Surgical units in the USA.
