Qualified in Bristol in 1996 left in 1997 and worked for 3 years in London before working as a flying dentist in South Australia. Dr Preston has also taken sabbaticals to do voluntary work in Romania and the townships of South Africa. She is now settled back in her home county of Shropshire. She joined the DENTAL SPA when it was first launched in 2003, keen to be involved with a practice with high clinical standards and with prevention at the heart of the practice philosophy.

BDS MA MGDS RCSI.After completing his dental training in London, Dr Roy Dixon spent 19 years as a dentist in the British Army, with his work taking him into active service overseas. Roy founded Augusta Dental Centre in Leamington Spa and works at The Dental Spa one day each week.

Mr Chadwick has worked as a Consultant Orthodontist in Shropshire since 1988 having been trained in both Oral Surgery and Orthodontics as a post-graduate. His practice has included the care of patients with the most complex problems who may have also required the services of Restorative and Surgical specialists to address their complaint. Now working at the Dental Spa and on a sessional basis at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, he maintains a wide clinical practice with links to other specialists both in practice and in the hospital services. His practice at the Dental Spa now includes a full range of orthodontic treatments utilising aesthetic appliance systems where adults particularly request these, to make the treatment as discreet as possible compatible with clinical requirements. Other areas of clinical interest include the management of problem snoring with the use of intra-oral appliances to effectively eliminate this problem for many satisfied clients. Besides giving a relaxed and friendly service, Mr Chadwick is still offering appointments in an evening and on Saturdays to make his services as accessible as possible.
