What is a Dental Implant?

Dental implants are artificial screws made of titanium or zirconium oxide that connect the jawbone and a dental restoration like a crown or denture. I just want to say a massive thank you to Dentistry on the Square for my smile makeover. I have never been a fan of the dentist and it has always made me very nervous. Sophie and Andy made me feel so comfortable and at ease from my very first appointment. Some of my appointments were long due to the treatment I was getting however they were pain-free and went in quickly. For every appointment, I was able to pick two items from a comfort menu such as a back massager and eye mask. This helped so much and helped me relax. Every member of staff I spoke to during my appointments was lovely and welcoming. I can’t recommend Dentistry on the Square enough. The work I got done was better than I could have ever imagined and has truly changed my life

As a patient of the practice for many years, I continue to be impressed by the quality of care and professionalism of all the staff. Everyone is so pleasant, and welcoming and does all they can to make you feel at ease. As a very nervous patient this has been very reassuring. My most recent visit was with dental hygienist Fiona who is so lovely, very thorough leaving my teeth feeling so clean but she is also very encouraging and informative in helping to improve my own dental care. I have a Denplan policy with the practice which covers checkups with Gordon my dentist, hygienist visits and any treatments I have required. I think it has proved to be really good value in my time as a patient at the practice.
