Christiane has been practising in the Borders for 3 years serving a large number of patients of all ages from the Galashiels region and prior to that, was part of the prestigious team at the Vienna Open Medical Institute providing surgical and general dental services to the East Danube Hospital of Austria which features a dedicated unit for the elderly.  Christiane will join Gareth Lavery to continue to provide the high standards of dental care you expect from Teviot Dental Practice, ably assisted by our wonderful Hygienists Hazel Cameron and Kirsty Ives.

Furthermore, Christiane has secured the services of John Cuccio, who has very many years of successful implant experience behind him. John has been placing and restoring dental implants for well over 35 years, most of the time on London’s Harley Street and Wimpole Street. John now lives in the Borders and continues as Clinical Director- Dental Implants at Lubiju in Edinburgh. He has also lectured on Dental Implants both here in the UK and abroad and is an Accredited Mentor for both the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) and the International Team for Implantology (ITI).

Christiane purchased the practice in May 2012, has impressive visions for the future of the practice and, along with her enthusiastic team of Dental Professionals, is committed to provide you with the highest standards of Dental and Implant Dentistry.

John Cuccio is your implantologist and restorative dental surgeon and is one of Europes most pre-eminent experts in the field. He has more than 35 years of implant expertise and became a leading proponent through his Harley Street surgery. Since moving to Borders several years ago, he has become one of a small handful the most sought after experts in the lecturing and training circuit and is an accredited implant mentor.

John is also a Fellow of the ICOI, has tutored many aspiring implantologists, and helped them to launch their own careers in the field of Dental Implants.  John is perfectly placed to see all aspects of your treatment placing his first implant in 1974, which you will be pleased to know is still there.
