76%"I was a contented patient"
Were you pleased with the treatment?
I'm a nervous patient but felt comfortable being treated by my former dentist who made the ordeal of a visit far more bearable. Appointment times were punctual, reducing nervy waiting times. There was a no-rush approach and treatment was given with care and professionalism making visits mostly pain-free and relaxed. In a nutshell, I was a contented patient.
Would you recommend the clinic?
After 10 years of being with the same dentist, he gained my trust and a good rapport was built. You can imagine my dismay when I was forcibly removed from his patient list. With respect, a close member of my family is also his patient and remains so regardless of being registered about 3 years after me. Despite a few attempts to get transferred back to my trusted dentist, I was turned down, being told it was a management decision but given no reason. After being put with two further dentists within 12 months, the last one contradicting advice about treatment my trusted dentist had given me, I decided to call it quits. When I called the surgery to tell them the news, I was told the practice manager would call me back to discuss the problem. They never did. I am now stuck without a dentist after trying another local one and not feeling comfortable with them. I will now consider going private
Would you return for further treatment?
If I was allowed to return to my original dentist at this practice, I would have no hesitation in returning. However, I think this is unlikely unless there has been a radical change of management attitude.
