Lucy qualified from University College Hospital, London in 1990.
After leaving university, Lucy undertook specialist training in oral surgery, finally moving to general practice in 1996. During this time she also joined a scientific expedition through the rainforests of Guyana, South America, providing dental treatment to the indigenous Amerindians.
Lucy gained her Fellowship in Dental Surgery from The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 1996.
In 2000 she was admitted onto the Specialist List in Oral Surgery.
She has also completed the well-regarded ‘one to one’ implant course held over 18 months at Sheffield Dental School.
Lucy is a past President of York Dental Society and a member of the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI), the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD), The British Dental Acupuncture Society and the British Dental Association (BDA).
Lucy joined the practice in 2003. She is able to carry out surgical procedures such as the removal of wisdom teeth and buried roots, either for practice patients or as a referral service. She places and restores implants in addition to carrying out general dentistry.
