Gentle Dental Care

I first started my journey for top and bottom implants back in April 2022 and finally finished in Oct 2023. I had many hurdles along the way but they were always swiftly taken care of by Mr Shakawi and his team of superb staff. I was always made to feel at ease, and was even given my dentist's personal number for any concerns or problems as I was an anxious patient. Gentle dental is exceptional in my opinion and go above and beyond. I have been given back my smile and confidence and would highly recommend this dental practice.

I had implants and crowns to replace a failing bridge fitted many years ago. My treatment was challenging as I had a lot of bone loss, but Dr Al-Sharkawi and his team were absolutely brilliant. They made me feel at ease and did everything possible to make sure I was happy with the end result, which I am 100%. I would highly recommend this practice for any cosmetic dental work. If I ever need anything else I will definitely use them again. The staff are very professional and they are so friendly. I chose those clinic on the recommendation of a friend and another dental professional.

After attending a number of dentists many who had a consultation charge a friend recommended Dr Sharkawi. From the minute l contacted the dentist the staff were amazing Libby explained all the details and said it was a free consultation. Once there Dr Sharkawi and Libby were amazing going through all the price options which were very competitive , procedures and time limit.l was so impressed as Dr Sharkawi was the only dentist who said l would require a deep clean before my crowns were fitted to make sure my teeth were properly prepared. From that first procedure to the 19 crowns being fitted Dr Sharkawi explained everything each visit which was totally pain free and what the next procedure would be. Libby was amazing helping me choose what shade and reassuring me throughout. I can honestly say it was the best money l have ever spent and my new smile proves it.l would honestly never use another dentist .

I've recently had a bridge replaced plus 3 new crowns. I'm so happy with the result and have received so many compliments, I've finally got the teeth I always wanted and they have literally transformed my smile. Dr Al Sharkwai fitted me with a bridge. I had a gap in my lower teeth from a tooth extraction which I was terribly conscious of. I enquired about an implant. Dr Al Sharkwai examined me, gave me a scan (all free of charge) and was very honest with me advising against it. He said he could do it, but there was a risk because my bone was damaged. After looking at the scan he offered to fit a bridge for me which was probably half the price of an implant. This is a dentist who really cares about people and the way they feel about themselves.

I didn't at any point feel rushed and my treatment plan was fully explained to me. Within two weeks I had been fitted with my lovely new bridge. Which looks incredibly natural and, at last, after 4 years I feel I can smile and laugh properly again. My confidence is on its way back. Big thank you to Dr Al Sharkwai and his team I would definitely recommend a visit to this dentist.

I chose this clinic after reading reviews. From the minute you step inside you feel calm. The receptionists are lovely, friendly and extremely professional. Everyone has the same calm manner that would put even the most nervous patient at ease. It didn't feel like a visit to the dentist, it didn't feel clinical. It just felt friendly and professional. You know the treatment you will receive will be the best and you'll come out feeling so much better about yourself.

You only have to look at the thank you cards on the wall (but if you want to read them all I'd go 30 minutes earlier than your appointment time).

He is straight to the point, extremely professional and an expert at his job. After years of covering my mouth when I smile I am now able to smile and laugh with the widest grin ever. I wanted a Dental implant but the prices at my own dentist in Chester were just unaffordable. After researching on line I went for a free consultation with Dr Shakarwi at Gentle Dental as the reviews and the prices were excellent. I am a very nervous patient but Dr Shakarwi put me at ease and thank goodness sedation was included in the price. I was terrified on the day I had my implant but Dr Shakarwi put me at ease and once the sedation took hold I was fine. I didn't feel a thing and I am so happy with the final result. The implant looks just like my own tooth. I would recommend this dental practice to anyone especially if you are a nervous patient. Fantastic job!!!

The clinic offers excellent value for money, especially compared to Chester prices. Your initial consultation is free and that includes the x rays you will require. It is very clean and the staff though young were very friendly. Dr Shakarwi came across as very professional and confident. He is understanding of nervous patients and the fact sedation is included in the price of implants made it the perfect choice for me. He also explains the whole process which makes you feel more at ease.
