This weekend I broke one of my front teeth and needed to see a dentist rather urgent, however as I had a fear of dentists I had not registered or been back to my own dentist ( over 30 miles away ) for years. So Sunday morning I googled dentists in my area that saw patients at short notice. Out of the whole of Richmond the first one to come up was The Smile Studios so I gave them a call. The phone went through to the answer machine, as fate would have it all the other numbers I tried also went through to voicemail!! So Monday morning I had a list of dentists to call with The Smile Studios being on the top of that list, however before I had a chance to start calling myself the smile studios dentist (Dr Mani) called ME BACK and had mentioned that I had called on Sunday and did I still require an emergency appointment. I was told that Dr Mani specalised in helping nervous patients and that he would be able to get me in next morning first thing (GREAT,but still nervous). So next morning I turn up, the most important part of my over all experience was Dr Mani himself. I am a nervous patient who has had the dentist from hell in the past however Dr Mani made me feel so relaxed from the start, told me what was going on throughout (no difficult silences) and when it came it building my broken tooth back up NO PAIN. My total treatment lasted aprox 45min and I never felt or saw one needle even though I now I had at least two. I felt so relaxed when I left this practice that I have now become an ongoing patient as I am confident that by going there I can get a pain free service by first class staff. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
