I've been to many different dentist's around mainly Hertfordshire; Private and NHS so please try to trust my judgement on what I am about to share. I was told by several professionals operating in this area that the retained molar tooth root I had in my gum (which was the direct result from a failed extraction from a local NHS dentist professional) was unable to be properly extracted within the clinics I attended and that I had to be referred to a specialist who would then perform a surgical extraction under sedation.
I went to several different clinics within the area and they all told me the same thing; that they were unable to perform the extraction due to the severity of my tooth. I couldn't understand why I would need to put under sedation; It became an issue for me so I neglected the tooth. It got to the point where the pain from the retained root was becoming infected; it then became completely unbearable.
I quickly searched online for emergency dentist's in London (I knew there wouldn't be as many of these type of emergency dentist's in Hertfordshire due to how many of these clinics operate in this area.) I just knew I would find something in the London as it is a major financial center of the world. My way of thinking at the time was; ''How would I not be able to find what I want in this city.''
I came across Pearl Dental Clinic; booking was very easy over the phone; very polite and clear speaking receptionist's. This clinic doesn't charge you for a consultation fee regarding emergency appointments; unlike most other clinics out there. However, Pearl Dentist Clinic does require a deposit of £49 when you book; This can be done online if you are not comfortable giving details over the phone.
This £49 however gets put towards the costs of your treatments which is really good. This is genuinely unheard of in the industry. I do not feel comfortable, nor do I feel it right for a Dental clinic to ask for £80+ that I do not get back for a consultation every single time I need to see a dentist on emergency.
When I booked in, The clinic was fairly modern-looking. Bright lights, Comfortable seats, Freshwater dispenser with fresh cups when needed, Clean toilet with toiletries. I've heard some reviews of people saying its outdated. To be honest with you; I've never really paid attention to the interior of dental clinics; I'm there to get treatment done. If freshly painted white walls and laminate flooring are outdated in comparison to porcelain/marble tile flooring with chandeliers and red carpet; then I totally get it.
Anyway back to the extraction. I paid a further £49 for a 3d scan of my teeth. I could not believe it when one of the top dental professionals at Pearl Dental Clinic told me that after examining my teeth that he can do the extraction. I was very confused at first because I believed I had to be put under sedation due to the advise I was getting from several NHS & Private clinicians within the Hertfordshire area. Syed; just told me relax, gave me the injection to numb the area around tooth and in literally under 2 minutes (after that section of my mouth was completely numb) he was able to take out the broken-in-half fragments of the retained root I have had in my mouth for months on end; which caused me the most excruciating pain one can experience in their entire life!
I was so glad when he told me what he had done. I was that impressed; I had ask him to extract the other tooth I was experiencing the same type of pain but from a cavity that I had caused from neglecting my own tooth. Syed; took that tooth out very fairly quickly as well. I've had several teeth taken out in the past (from the advise of mainly NHS dentists) and the chosen dental clinician that decides to operate on my tooth; always has some issues pulling out the tooth; blaming the density of my jaw for the ongoing time it takes them to fully pull out the tooth. Not at Pearl Dental Clinic. They are very efficient in how they conduct business professionals at heart.
Although I cannot vouch for any other professional at Pearl Dental Clinic other than Syed; It is my belief that all the professionals there operate at a very high level. You can be assured you are getting A* dental work from this place.
I've Been back to Pearl Dentistry several times now to get treatments. I travel over 2 hours to get there from when I live in Hertfordshire. Its 100% worth the journey every single time. They are open 7 days a week. 365 days in a year. Its a no-brainer where you need to get your next treatment. Get yourself over to Pearl Dental Clinic now!
Do not neglect your teeth like I have and wait for the NHS to help you; nor pay for slightly overpriced low quality dental work done by incompetent dental clinicians. Just because a dental clinic might have some marble flooring or a gold water dispenser; that doesn't necessarily mean that the professionals within that clinic can do professional work.
