The Smile Studios : Park Parade

After qualifying from St Bartholomews and The Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry with a Distinction, I began working in the general dental sector and also at a Harley Street Cosmetic Surgery, where I continued to develop my cosmetic and restorative dentistry. I then decided to pursue international studies in the US, Brazil and France. Following this, I became one of the first UK dentists to be a specialist in dental implants from a prestigious Sao Paulo university. I founded The Smile Studios, where I maintain and develop our high standards of dental services. I lecture at international events, my studies have been published in international journals and more recently, I’ve been elected as Philips’ Sonicare Ambassador. This involves lecturing dentists and the public up and down the country. I recently lectured on behalf of the British Dental Association, which was really enjoyable

My specialist interests are in cosmetics and dental implants, although I perform general dentistry as well. Dr. Hardip Dhatt offers orthodontic treatments, such as the revolutionary Six Month Smile. We can also arrange visiting specialists if the need is required.

“I graduated in 1994 after completing my education at Shadd Academy in Canada and Guy’s Hospital in London. I’ve been a Dental Hygienist at The Smile Studios for three years and have loved every minute of it.

“I realise that many people are anxious before their hygiene appointment, so I make them feel very welcome and relaxed upon their arrival. The Smile Studios can offer my clients sedation services if they are particularly nervous; however this is rarely needed, as I’m a very gentle Dental Hygienist.

“After your treatment, I’ll recommend bespoke brushing techniques, vitamins, flosses and other ways to maintain your oral health in between appointments. Specialising in scaling and polishing, I offer a range of treatments including AirFlow stain removal and the Cavitron ultrasonic cleaner. Regular appointments are advised, as high levels of tartar can affect your heart. Depending on the condition of your teeth, appointments can range from every three to six months.

After graduating from St. Barts and the Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2003, Hardip spent most of his clinical time in private general practice. Based in Winchester since 2007, Hardip has a specialist interest in advanced orthodontics, and cosmetic dentistry.
Hardip is the Clinical Director of both RELAX dental in Winchester and Ringwood dental in Ringwood, Hampshire. He is also the orthodontic partner at the Smile Studios in Richmond.
Having studied extensively Hardip has developed a broad range of general dental and cosmetic dental skills.

• 6 months smile certified.Dr Dhatt is one of the first UK dentists to offer the latest 6 month smiles orthodontic treatment within Hampshire, and the only practitioner to offer this treatment in Winchester.

Hardip spends most of his free time at the moment entertaining his baby boy Zail Dhatt, born in September 2010.
He likes keeping fit, playing Sunday league football, golf, and booking himself onto courses all over the world to keep up to date with the latest developments in dentistry.
