Metrodental - St Mary Axe Practice

• Keith is the principal dentist at Metrodental and has worked in the City since 2000. He qualified from the University of Sheffield and has a special interest in endodontics and cosmetic dentistry.

• DDS (Dentist)
• Sanjay graduated in Sweden and has worked in private practice in the City of London for a number of years. He has a particular interest in general and preventive dentistry. On a personal note, Sanjay has volunteered much of his spare time to help improve primary oral health in third world countries.

• BDS (Lon), LDS RCS (Eng) (Dentist)
• Ela qualified in 1988 from Guy´s Hospital London and has worked in private practice in Central London for over fourteen years. Ela´s interests lie in all aspects of restorative dentistry, periodontology and cosmetic dentistry with a particular emphasis on minimal intervention.

Laleh qualified in 1998. Keith Burns the principal has worked with her for over ten years. She is a Prosthodontic specialist  and places all the Implants at Metrodental.

Stephen Cawte qualified from the University of Edinburgh with BDS in 1988. After graduating he was commissioned into the Royal Army Dental Corps and served in the UK, Germany, New Zealand, The Falkland Islands, the middle east and Africa. Seven years later, on completion of his commission, he completed an MSc in Conservative Dentistry at the University of Manchester.

After several years working in both private and NHS practices and at the Turner Dental School in Manchester he started a training post as a resident SHO in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery with East Lancashire Maxillofacial Services. After two and a half years in this post he accepted the position of Staff Grade in Restorative Dentistry and Oral Surgery at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital in Sheffield. Following this he worked for Boots Dentalcare in Bolton and Manchester until commencing a three year full-time monospecialty training program (endodontics) at the Eastman Dental Institute in London. He currently works at several practices in London and at the Royal London Dental Hospital providing endodontic advice and treatment.
