Ash Dental Practice

BDS MFGDP(UK)

Ash is our principal dentist and the owner of the practice. Ash qualified in 1989 from the University of Manchester. Since then he has gained the MFGDP (UK) from the Royal College of Surgeons in 1998. Ash has been an approved trainer for new graduates since 1996 and has been awarded the certificate in teaching and learning in professional practice with merit from the University of Central Lancashire. He also teaches dental students at Manchester Dental Hospital and has worked at the local hospital treating patients with difficult restorative cases. Ash has a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics. He is enthusiastic about new innovations and ideas and shows his commitment by continuously improving his knowledge by completing postgraduate courses.  He has undertaken year long courses in restorative dentistry, practical and aesthetics where he received a special commendation award at the esteemed St Anne’s Clinic; he has compled the dental implant course under the supervision of the eminent and highly acclaimed Dr Paul Tipton. Ash has treated many patients and made them youthful by using Botox and Dermal fillers treatments, he has been implementing this treatment since 2007 when he completed the Botox and Dermal fillers course.

Ash is an approved clinician of Invisalign, where he can correct your smile using clear (invisible) braces. He completed this course in 2007.  Ash has also completed the 6 months smiles orthodontic course.

He is currently completing a MSc in Restorative & Aesthetic Dentistry from the University of Manchester.

Ash has a keen interest in cricket and football and enjoys keeping fit at the gym.

Halima graduated from the University of Manchester in 2008; she has successfully completed her vocational training and has stayed on as an associate at the practice. Halima has a special interest in treating nervous and young patients and hopes to continue and further her skills by completing postgraduate qualifications. She has completed part one of her MJDF examinations and is due to complete the 2nd part in November this year!

Halima enjoys reading and socialising with friends. She also enjoys getting pampered and if she is not here at the practice you are most likely to find her in a spa somewhere!

Yasir is one of our associate dentists and has been at the practice for 11 years since he qualified from the University of Manchester in 1999. Yasir has patients that travel nationally and internationally to see him and all his patients speak highly of him (see testimonials).

Yasir enjoys helping people that are in pain and takes on more complex endodontic cases. Since qualifying Yasir has completed numerous post graduate courses and he is our computer wizard here at the practice. He is currently completing the Advanced Practical Restorative course at the Dental Hospital.

Yasir is a gadget freak and if there is a new gadget on the market you can guarantee that Yasir will have it. When he isn’t doing dentistry you can find Yasir riding his Harley Davidson!

BDS MFDS(Edin)

Fyeza is another of our associate dentists and qualified from the Royal London Dental Hospital in 2005. Since this time she has worked as an associate in various dental practices in London and Manchester as well as working in a specialist sedation referral practice with nervous patients in the past. She has also worked at Royal Preston Hospital in the Maxillofacial department and at Manchester Dental Hospital as an Oral Medicine senior house officer.

Fyeza gained her MFDS (Edin) from the Royal College of Surgeons and she has been awarded the prestigious National Institute of Health Research Fellowship and is now studying for a part time Masters degree.

Fyeza enjoys going to the movies and buying bags and shoes and bags and clothes and bags and bags and bags....
