Dentistry on the Square

Since qualifying in 2004, Dr Skimming has founded and developed his practice into a state of the art restorative and cosmetic clinic.Dr.Skimming has completed his 2 year postgraduate diploma in advanced restorative dentistry, allowing him to create beautiful smiles. At this time he will be the youngest dentist in the UK to be awarded this distinguished qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons. This has eduacated him in the treatment of difficult cosmetic and restorative cases He has also been awarded the MFGDP postgraduate qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons.Mark enjoys running dentistry on the square and is always chatting with the patients to find out how their overall experience has been here.  Many patients describe him as very approachable and down to earth.  (After all how many dentists have you enjoyed chatting about the football scores with?)

Upon graduating Jamie has continued his further education with particular emphasis in surgical and restorative dentistry. He has excelled in management of patients with advanced gum disease and teeth wear. Barry enjoys focusing on his patients needs as he pays much attention to detail in addition to getting to know those who come in to visit, many patients enjoy being under his care and constantly tell the reception staff how welcoming and capable he is.

Phil graduated in France and completed his othodontic training in the U.S.A. He provides all forms of orthodontics including invisible braces (invisalign, clearstep and lingual ortho). He accepts both private and NHS patient and through his long hours and hard work currently has no waiting list. He truly strives to be Dentistry for Busy people.

Lorraine is our experienced practice manager. She is responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the clinical and business side of the practice. Lorraine builds great relationships with all the patients who attend and focuses on having the highest standard of patient care implemented by the dental team.

Elaine is our super organised Smile Advisor and is well know to many patinets and particularly those undergoing the most complex treatments. Elaine provides a concierge service and manages our patient enquiries ensuring nobody is left waiting or unsure about the treatments we offer. She also focuses on how the practice engages with new patients and often liases with patients who have a fear of dentistry with relaxation techniques.

Since joining the practice Paul has proved very popular with staff and patients. He enjoys seeing patients from the start to end of treatment and the transformation, development and improvement of overall oral health. Paul really enjoys using our "Pain free techniques" to provide all patients with the most enjoyable visits.

Amy is our experienced Dental Therapist and is also our facial aesthetics practitioner. Our patients constantly compliment Amy on the bubbly and professional care she provides them with.

John provides a visiting role to the practice when required. His expertise is used in conjunction for highly complex cases.
