I am a general dentist qualified from Riga, Latvia in 2004 and been working in the UK in General Dental practice since 2008.

John trained in Dental Hygiene at the Royal Army Dental Corps Training Centre in Aldershot, Qualifying in 1985 with the CEB Certificate in Dental Hygiene. In 1996 he was awarded the Diploma in Dental Hygiene. He worked as a Dental Hygienist in the Armed Forces in a variety of Dental Centres and Military Hospitals around the world. He retired from the Army whilst working in the Maxillofacial department of Haslar Hospital in Gosport in 2001. He has since worked in General Practice in the Fareham and Gosport area. John is currently the Secretary of the British Society of Dental Hygienists and Therapists Southern Region.

As a mum of our teenagers looking to escape/return to employm ent I joined the practice in 2013 on reception, instantly striking a rapport with both patients and staff. With a willingness to learn and with the full support of the dental team I achieved my NEBDN Dental Nursing qualification in 2016.

Since moving to England in 2009, I have been fortunate to realise a dream of having a business partnership with my wife Milena running our own dental practice and risen to the challenge of Practice Manager.
