Usha graduated from the University of Dundee in 1976 in Dentistry. She stayed for two further years in Scotland to complete a degree in Masters in Medical Sciences. In 1978 Usha moved to Oldchurch Hospital in Romford as an SHO in Maxillo Faxial Department and became a Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons soon after (1981).
She decided to persue the academic line and became a Lecturer in Paedodontics at Kings College Hospital Dental School but left after two years to have a family.
In 1985 Usha completed studies in Forensic Odontology and after some years in General Practice joined Guys Hospital as a part time lecturer in Oral Surgery. During this time she completed courses in Dental Implantology and intravenous sedation.
Usha has always been keen on studies and has always remained up to date by attending multiple Dental Courses both here in UK and abroad. She obtained her Specialist in Oral Surgery in year 2000.
Now as a specialist in Implantology and Oral Surgery, she keeps busy treating referred patients as well as providing general dental care to her own list. She has done multiple smile makeovers using Veneers and crowns and bridges as well as implants and dentures.
Working with lasers is another one of her specialties and often uses the lasers to carry out various surgical procedures.
Latest courses to be completed include the use of Botox Toxins and Fillers to improve smiles and various folds that appear on the face due to aging.
