Dr Peter MerrittI qualified from the Royal Dental Hospital London in 1979 and have been in practice for many years - both in the UK and the West Indies. My special interest is in treating people with problematic jaw joints and very worn teeth. I have completed advance training in the area both in the UK and the USA.I am a member of the British Society Occlusal Studies and the American Equilibration Society. I regularly attend postgraduate meetings on this subject both in the UK and USA.

I returned to England in 1989 having lived and worked in the West Indies. Peter and I set up Cheriton Dental Practice, which has changed over time to become a large modern practice with great staff.Nobody likes visiting the dentist and I try to base my treatment around this. I try to make visits as positive as possible and aim to minimise any discomfort, which is unavoidable.
