Biography:
Cosmetic Dentist Dr Aneu Sood graduated from Sheffield University in December 1985. He worked as an associate dentist for 2 years before becoming a principal in a Nottingham practice in 1987.
He then went on to open The Oakwood Dental Centre in Derby in 1990 where he is currently the principal dentist. He is committed to the highest standards of clinical care, and to the ongoing process of postgraduate education.
He is continually investing in the practice and to post graduate education to offer patients the best that modern dentistry can bring. His personal interests are centred on the cosmetic and implant aspects of dental care. However at all times the long term well being of his patients is at the centre of his thinking.
He has also completed an intensive 6-day hands-on course on Aesthetic Dentistry at the world-renowned Eastman Dental Hospital. In addition, he has also completed an eighteen months one to one implant course at Sheffield University, as well as many other courses throughout the years including a yearlong TMJ and occlusion course in the field of bite problems with Roy Higson. He has trained alongside some of the worlds leading cosmetic dentists including Derry Rogers (Australia), Nasar Barghi (USA), Pete Dawson and John Cranham (The Dawson Academy,Florida, USA) and Pascal Magne (Switzerland).

Dr.Tony Taunk BDS (University Of Newcastle) graduated in 2002 when he joined the Oakwood Dental Centre to undertake his postgraduate training (2002-03). Following completion of his dental training, he remained at Oakwood Dental Centre as assosciate dentist and currently undertakes all aspects of general dental practice alongside some aspects of cosmetic dentistry.
He has a keen interest in the field of cosmetic dentistry and is building on this interest in his current post at the practice.
He has worked in conjunction with national hairdressing chain, Saks Hairderessing, in his capacity to provide cosmetic dental services from their hair salons.
He undertakes and provides dental services to Derby County Football Team and Derby County Cricket Team, attending matches in his capacity as dentist to the players

Our restorative dental specialist, Richard Milner has a broad experience of the clinical challenges facing patients with a wide range of dental problems and has a special interest in endodontics and the multi-disciplinary management of patients requiring a combination of restorative, orthodontic and dental implant treatment.
Richard completed his higher Specialist Training in Restorative Dentistry in April 2009. He is currently working as a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. He is a Clinical Teaching Fellow at the University of Manchester, teaching on the Endodontic and Periodontic post-graduate MSc and MRD training programmes alongside his private work in specialist dental.
