Had root canal by my own dentist two weeks ago. I was left in extreme agony for a week until further treatment was performed again so serious was the pain, I collapsed with the pain, swelling and exhaustion. I went to The Edge to see Dentist Riz and his Dentist Partner Uzma. They took xrays and knew the tooth in question had 5 nerve canals to the one tooth. Riz felt he would successfully manage a root canal procedure and we commenced. Unfortunately whilst doing the procedure Riz and Uzma found that although the root canal would work, through their diligence and great dentistry, it was discovered my tooth was perforated by previous NHS dentist. Riz extracted as that was only option left, or major pain in a hospital. Riz took the tooth out with ease. Best extraction actually that I've ever had. I was in such pain for two weeks and complained profusely to NHS dentist to no avail. He performed root canal with no dam, lots of pain, no proper x rays. Riz and Uzma have literally saved my life.
Wonderful. Riz and Uzma are without doubt the best dentists. If anybody is nervous, afraid and in pain or needs reassurance in the work previously done on their teeth then here is for them. I had travelled a distance to get to the clinic. Worth every penny. Clinic very clean, modern and topclass technology, both dentists are highly qualified and supberb bedside manner. A real credit to their profession. They even called home day after to check I was OK and healing well. Cannot thank them enough. I will be swapping from this point on, logistics or not.
