Oykum was born in 1977 in Konya, Anatolia,the son of an army doctor. He attended Barbaros Primary School and the Antalya Anatolian High School beforegoing to Istanbul to study dentistry at the Dentistry Faculty of MarmaraUniversity.

On graduation he worked for Kemer LifeHospital between 2001-2005 before switching to their sister hospital inAntalya, Antalya Life Hospital (Yasam), working there for a year beforestarting his own clinic which he has run successfully ever since.

Oykum speaks excellent English and afterhis wife and young daughter his passion is Besiktas Football Club following histime at University in Istanbul.

He has continued to attend and successfullypasses courses since graduation e.g. implant surgery, Ankara 2005.

His practice is in one of the best areas ofAntalya, close to the centre but also on the coast with a range of good hotelsnearby. Antalya is very much geared for the tourist and patients have theoption of advice about where to stay if coming specifically for treatment.

Transport to and from the airport, andwithin the city can also be arranged on request.
