At DP Dental we are devoted to providing comprehensive care to our patients. Our doctors strive to uncover the cause of your oral health problems with consideration to your teeth, gums, jaw and bite position. We believe that in order to lay a solid foundation for optimal long term health and appearance, it is essential for us to treat the tooth as a part of the whole body.

CEREC Dental Restorations

CEREC Crown/Inlay/Onlay with CAD-CAM Technology

At DP Dental, we are committed to providing the best care to our patients by being at the forefront of technology.

We made the investment in the CEREC system for the comfort of our patients -

the biggest advantage of the CEREC system is the ability to have your tooth prepared and restored on the same day

. This means that you dont have to wear a temporary crown while waiting for the lab crown to be fabricated and risk the temporary crown falling off. It also means that you dont have to come back for a second visit, have a second local anaesthesia injection, have your temporary crown taken off, then have your lab crown fixed.

From S$30
Dental Checkup

At DP Dental we recognize that everyone has unique wants and needs, it is therefore our highest priority to provide individualized care for every one of our patients.

During the initial Comprehensive Examination and Diagnosis, our doctors will begin with a comprehensive oral assessment. During this examination we will be looking at:

Teeth and the way you bite

Original restorations  – Filling, crowns, veneers etc which may call for additional work due to wear

The health of your gums and surrounding bone around each tooth

Your tongue, throat, cheeks & lips for signs of oral cancer

Jaw joint evaluation for signs of strain

Once the examination is complete, our doctors will take a series of digital photographs of the patients teeth and bite position. The photographs will immediately be presented on our iMacs to allow for an interactive discussion of findings and treatment plans with the patient.

These initial photographs will also serve as a baseline record for our patients, allowing our doctors and patients to track the treatment progress during subsequent visits.

Our doctors may also recommend the patient to take a few dental X-rays to help uncover hidden dental structures, bone loss and cavities that cannot be seen during a visual examination.

From S$1000
Dental Crowns

At DP Dental, there is the option of lab-based or single-visit CEREC crowns, subject to suitability. There are many different materials that is used to make a crown, the most common option being a PFM (Porcelain-fused-with-metal) crown. This option is often recommended for teeth in the posterior as they combine the strength of the metal and the aesthetics of the porcelain. For teeth in the anterior region, a full porcelain crown is often recommended.

From S$5000
Dental Implants

Dental implants are fast becoming the most ideal option for the replacement of missing teeth. At DP Dental, we are exclusively using the Ankylos implant system from Germany for excellent and predictable results.

From S$30
Dental X-Ray

Dental X-rays are pictures of teeth, bones and soft tissues surrounding them to aid our doctors in evaluating hidden dental structures that cannot be visually determined.  We use one of the latest digital X-ray system - SIRONA ORTHOPHOS XG 5 and VISTASCAN for clear and rapid investigation for single tooth or full mouth format using minimum dose of radiation.

From S$300
3D Dental X-Ray

When necessary, our doctors may also recommend the patient to take a 3D X-ray for better prosthetic and surgical planning, especially for implant treatment. Unlike conventional 2D X-rays, the 3D digital X-rays allow our doctors to carry out cross-sectional examination of the bone and facial structures, enhancing both diagnostic and planning capabilities.

Extractions

Your dentist will examine your tooth and explain the reasons why your tooth needs to be extracted, an x-ray will be taken to help plan the best way to remove the tooth and to see if an abscess is present.

If an abscess is present your dentist will give you a course of antibiotics before your tooth is extracted.

Your dentist will ask you about your medical history. You must list every medication you are taking even if you have purchased it from over the counter, as some medications can complicate an extraction

Tell your dentist if you are anxious about the procedure as sedation is available. If your dentist does not carry out sedation he will refer you to a practice that does.

Wisdom Tooth Extraction

Adults have up to 32 teeth, of which four are wisdom teeth and these are the last to come through the gum. They are the one's right at the back of the mouth and usually appear between the ages of 17 and 25 although sometimes they can appear in later years.

If there is enough room in the mouth the wisdom teeth will come through (erupt) in a useful position and there will only be minor discomfort as they erupt. However, wisdom teeth can cause problems if there is not enough room in the mouth, as the wisdom tooth erupts at an angle and gets stuck against the tooth in front; the dentist will describe this as 'Impacted'.

From S$6000
Invisalign™

At DP Dental, all our dentists are Invisalign Certified Providers with years of experience.

Orthodontic treatment using Invisalign comes with series of invisible and removable aligners that people will hardly notice that you are wearing one.

Your Invisalign treatment will consist of series of aligners that you change about every two weeks. Each aligner is individually manufactured with precise calculations to gradually align your teeth.

Since the aligners are clear and virtually invisible, you can smile more confidently during treatment as well as after. Invisalign is made with 3-D computer imaging technology and has been proven to be highly effective, accurate and ideal for working adults who do not want to be seen with braces.
