Referrals from general dentists are accepted at the clinic. On the first visit the root canal of the tooth is cleaned and medications are placed to prevent bacteria from entering the root canal. On the second visit a rubber filling is placed inside the root canal. The patient is referred back to the general dentist for placement of a filling and crown.
