Dr Hanna is the principle dentist at Lisburn Dental Clinic. He received his Bachelor in Dental Surgery in 1999 from Queens University, Belfast, having followed his father into the dental profession. He has a special interest in restorative dentistry including all ceramic crown and bridgework, adhesive restorations, endondontics and dental implants.
During the past 10 years he has gained a wide range of experience within the Private & NHS sectors both in Northern Ireland and the south coast of England.
Furthering his career and reputation and for the benefit of his clients, Dr Hanna has invested a lot of his personal time in pursuing high level post graduate education. He has completed an Implantology course at the University of Manchester 2006. He is a member of ADI (Association of Dental Implants) and ITI (International Team of Implantology) and in partnership with a specialist surgical implantologist places and restores dental implants. He is also a member of the The British Dental Association (BDA).
Dr. Hanna also is a vocational trainer for newly qualified dentists having satisfied all the requirements from the Northern Ireland Medical and Dental Postgraduate Agency and his practice is accredidate to the high standards necessary to allow the transition of individuals from their undergraduate degree into general dental practice.
Having worked in a demanding private practice in Lymington, Hampshire working to the highest standards followed by a return to his home country Dr Hanna is well equipped to deal with all aspects of modern dentistry.
Dr Hanna took over and purchased what was then known as Castle Chambers Dental Surgery in 2007. In 2008 he computerised the practise and did a refurb putting in new dental chairs and units and other dental equipment. In early 2009 www.smiledentalclinic.net went live. We rebranded to become Lisburn Dental Clinic in Jan 2012. Our website www.lisburndentalclinic.co.uk in conjunction with the clinic facebook and twitter pages exemplifies that social media is an important part of the practices way of keeping our patients informed and up to date with practice info and dental advice and updates !
David has a clear vision of how he wants his dental practice to look and he aims to turn this into reality in 2011. His vision is to have a first class, comfortable and forward thinking environment with the best dental equipment and be 100% patient centred catering for all their needs.
During 2010 / 2011 Dr David Hannas clinic has added a few more treatments unto their portfolio of treatments, including the highly popular Inman Aligner teeth straightening treatment where teeth can be straightened in as little as 8-12 weeks. Lisburn Dental Clinic under the superb leadership of David has grown from strength to strength in 2010 and will continue doing so during 2011 and beyond.
