Dr. Moreno gets more done in one day than most dentist, because she has to. Dr. Moreno is very professional and accommodating. I am able to eat an apple without cutting into small pieces and I know that my teeth look great! Dr. Moreno on my first visit (took x-rays and ctscans) outlined how long my proceedure would take and how many visits and cost. She deals with americans, canadians and europeans comming down for dental work.

To all of you North Americans out there who thought about getting implants but couldn't afford it, Dr. Moreno's clinic in Tijuana and Guadalajara may be your answer. It sure was for me.
I had a full set of teeth (16 implants, 24 teeth) replaced at half the price quoted in the USA. Dr. Moreno has a Master's Degree in Prosthodontics from University of Michigan. She replaced my false teeth and gave me a new smile. The last time I went through border check, they asked what was the purpose of my visit and I replied dental and the border patroll lady said your teeth looked Great! My only regreat was I did not do it sooner. My brother will come see Dr. Moreno.

High quality dental treatment with focus on conserving your teeth (Dr. Moreno prefers not to be considered a cosmetic dentist). My US root canal specialist recommended tooth extraction and implant, while Dr. Moreno was able to save my tooth using European root canal technique. 2 zirconia crowns were fitted perfectly, they almost did not require cement. 2 sessions in total, external lab took 1 week to deliver crowns.
Dr. Moreno is a one-woman practice; she brings in specialists as needed (in my case Edgar for root canal). Very personalized and small clinic (looks more like an office than a dental practice). Dr. Moreno is a multi-tasker, she attends her own calls, receives deliveries, etc. while patient is in treatment chair (which at times can be a bit distracting, but Dr. Moreno is always very conscientious to keep dental area sterilized).
Minor area of improvement is the quality of xrays; while the practice has digital equipment, it took Dr. Moreno and her recently graduated intern dentist many repeats for decent xrays (bring your own xrays, if possible).
Overall, I am very satisfied with quality of work and personal attention received, and can highly recommend Dr. Moreno.

Dr. Moreno made the Mexican dental experience a very reassuring experience. Her expertise in procedures was very apparent as she performed various treatments ranging from a surgical extraction and regenerative bone grafting to a crown and fillings. She worked cheerfully for long hours to complete the necessary work even when she ran into unexpected cavities and decay. I was given detailed follow up instructions and she was quick to respond to any questions or concerns that I had after I got home to Arizona. I will be seeing her later in the summer to have her place an implant where the surgical extraction was. I found her to be professional and friendly. Her pricing was accurate to her quote and a fraction of what my US dentist quoted. Thank you Dr. Moreno.

I live on Vancouver Island in Canada. My request for information was answered very promptly by Dr. Moreno & we were able to set an initial consult for 3 days after my arrival in Southern California. Subsequent to that, Dr. Moreno laid out an action plan with dates for my preparation for & installation of my mini implants. I am an insulin dependent diabetic whose teeth that were left all needed extraction. Within 4 days I had medical & blood checks, x-rays, impressions, extractions, implant placement, bone grafts & new dentures. For the next 7 weeks I saw Dr. Moreno for progress checks & "tune-up" treatments.
The final treatment was the fitting of the retainer rings & housings to the dentures, & the fine tuning of the bite. Wow, a lot of work accomplished in a short period of time. Dr. Moreno is, I believe, a perfectionist who takes great care in providing the best care for her patients that she can, & in this she succeeds. I can only give her the highest of recommendations.

This is an overdue review for Dr. Moreno. Dr. Moreno has been working in the dental field for 35 years and she is incredibly knowledgeable in all aspects of dentistry.
First of all, thank you Dr. Moreno for everything you have done for my dad! I am very happy with the outcome! With his new teeth, his profile is now corrected and he finally has an ideal vertical dimension. He is currently practicing on how to chew as these teeth are still new. I also noticed a big change in his speech! My dad has a mandibular porcelain bridge supported by 6 implants and a upper denture supported by 4 mini-implants. We had to make a few changes in the treatment plan along the way but the cost had stayed relatively close to the initial quoted price. Dr. Moreno is very dedicated, extremely meticulous in her work - a perfectionist i might say, understanding, caring, personable, very funny and flexible with your schedule. She has a very warm personality and will make you feel like you are at home. Once she starts the treatment, she will work tiredlessly the entire day to save you a few trips crossing the border. I usually drive straight to her office as the office is located only 3 miles from the border (usually takes me 10-15 minutes from the border to her office). She will give you a medical/dental fast pass for your way back to the States. Also, communication is always pleasant; Dr. Moreno will answer your calls and reply your e-mails within the day.
Aside from delivering her expertise in implant and prosthetic dentistry, she also lectures at schools and dental laboratories in Mexico, the States and several countries around the world.
My dad is almost done with his treatment and I can't wait to see the final results!

One year and a half ago I had 4 implants installed in my lower jaw, by Dr. Moreno. My sister had a set of dentures done at the same time, She is very satisfied with them and she paid less of what she would had paid in Montreal. In my case, the implants are working fine after a year and half. She worked around my overbite for my upper partial, where there was almost no space. It's easy access to her office, when I drive, in Mexico. Finally, she gives me a medical fast pass, what makes a difference in my return to the USA. Thank you Dr. Moreno.

I needed 2 root canals and 2 crowns. Not a nice thing to have to go through, but Dr Moreno is very reassuring. I paid a fraction of the cost I would have in the US (I'm in San Diego) she filled out our insurance paperwork as well and we were reimbursed at the standard rate same as for a US dentist. She's a great Dr who is good with people who have underlying medical issues for exams I had a parathyroid adenoma that left my bones weakened. When I looked for someone who knew how to deal with that type of issue she was the only one who specialized in that type of care within a 200 mile radius! Who cares if she's in Tijuana! She's the best and it turns out she too had her own bout with thyroid issues with the scars to prove it. She teaches at the University of Southern California of how to manage patients with complex medical issues. Wonderful staff and Doctor! Works on Saturdays too, but books up fast so don't wait or hesitate to call her.

I highly recommend Implant Dental Center in Tijuana. I had 4 root canals, 8 crowns and a bone graft. I had expected I might need to have some teeth extracted and have implants but Dr. Moreno saved all of my teeth. I had the best outcome I could have hoped for at less than half the cost an inferior treatment would have been in Los Angeles. I don't think you could find better care at any price. I will be going to Dr. Moreno in the future and will definitely recommend her to all my friends.

the advantages of an implant upgrade from the original quote, which I feel quite reasonable, since not being seen before my visit. I was truly amazed that I was treated in reality in two days time. I had casts made the first day, and a follow-up appointment to confirm fittings, and an an entire afternoon pulling 18 teeth and reshaping bone and filling holes with a new product just implemented with me. There was no sutures used in my mouth, very little swelling or blood loss. This new product, called bone bone i beleive was fantastic. after spending over 7 hours in the chair, leaving the office after 7pm, found myself up on the street Revolution celibrating mexican independance at midnight. Never in my wildest dreams would I have imanaged that. I would recommend this office to any person intrested in current dental practices at unbeleivable prices.

Focused on a complete solution, with root cause diagnosis. One third or less the price in the US, and none of the "let's rush this and fix the next part of your mouth on a follow up visit (drill fill and bill)."
Incredible service. Much more extensive treatment for $3,200 than the limited treatment (and follow on problems) for $7500 in the US.

I did a lot of online research and chose Dr. Moreno on the basis of training and experience which turned out to be very legitimate. The sclinic is in a modern 7 story building that has seen better days. The waiting room needs redecorating. The 3 treatment rooms were clean and very well equipped, ie.digital x-ray, low intensity lazer etc.Dr. Moreno is down to earth, chatty and a perfectionist.She doesn't mind taking whatever time necessary to get the treatment right.Her staff are also very caring and dedicated. They gave me prices before hand and were prepared to honor them. After extensive digital x-ray studies with findings explained in detail I opted to upgrade to gold inlay for ideal strength , which was more expensive but still much less than in San Diego county.Pain was gone first day. Crown fit perfectly. They even took impressions and ordered a new night, mouth guard for grinding problem which I picked up several days later for a reasonable fee. One must Allow considerable time for this entire process but for me it was worth it.

I went to Dr. Moreno with a need for two crowns on my front teeth,and I wound up needing three crowns, a root canal, and decided to get a whitening treatment. I knew that probably needed the third crown but I wanted to make sure the doctor was thorough, and she was! My quoted price was 90% less than what I was quoted in San Diego, and I am extremely satisfied with the results. Dr. Moreno and all of her staff are super smart, super funny and overall great people. She is a leader in her field of implants and is a perfectionist to a criminal degree.
Her office is small and different than an American office but it gets the job done. The office is in a safe part of town right by the Cineplex IMAX movie theatre and a nice hotel, if anyone needs to stay overnight or have an escort waste a few hours at a movie. I walked across the border and took a $5 cab ride to her office, and was able to catch multiple $5 cab rides back practically in front of her office (due to the hotel next door).
My work was pain free, fast and thorough. Once the front crowns were made with the amazing zirconia (Procera) material, we actually went to the dental lab where the great gals (and artists!) there could further tint my teeth to an EXACT match of my others before they cured them. My new front teeth superceed any expectation I had of what they would look like, and make me wish I could get all of my teeth done this way due to their luminocity and radiance! The zirconia material is super smooth and translucent, mixed with the expert coloring of the lab staff the crowns look more real than my other teeth almost!
Would you recommend the clinic?
I cannot stop recommending this clinic to everyone I know! The staff all speak excellent english and are hilarious! They were always attentive to my many questions and needs, and explained and showed me everything as we went along in the treatment.
Would you return for further treatment?
I will return to Dr. Moreno for every dental issue I have from here on out. Her demeanor, bedside manner, skill, meticulousness, and price are all among the reasons I will return. My new front teeth have given me new confidence and a real reason to smile, and I thank Dr. Moreno for this life changing event!

Dr Moreno fixed two broken teeth. She replaced with Zirconia caps. They replaced the poorly done ones that had been done before.

I am so far very pleased with Dr. Moreno's work. For example, the expensive dentist here in the States who just wanted to extract the teeth which Dr. Moreno is now saving (because she realized that despite the bone loss shown in the X-rays, that since I have such good bone, that the teeth, which have no mobility despite the lost bone around them, can be saved) by going under my gums, neutralizing the bacteria with her dental laser, scraping the tooth roots and supporting bone clean, making up bone material for me from my blood plasma and generic bone concentrate, and rebuilding my jaw and skull under the teeth (very competently and cleverly) around and under their roots. What I got for Christmas was my two back teeth (and more).
Would you recommend the clinic?
Dr. Moreno speaks English fluently, as well as Spanish, German, French. What influenced me to decide to trust her by giving her carte blanche to do to my mouth whatever she thought should be done was not only the rave reviews on her competence and efficiency, but even more importantly, a trust in her integrity and honesty in figuring very fair estimates for some complicated work which no doubt would have cost many times more here in the States, and which may not have been able to have even been done by many dentists here?

I never imagined that traveling alone to another county, for the sole purpose of getting 5 dental implants, would turn out to be such a memorable and enjoyable experience.
For all you nay-sayers out there, who automatically equate dentistry in Mexico with inferior quality, please don't rush to judgement.
I did a comprehensive search for the right Dr. and location for my needs. By the time I made my choice of Dr. Moreno and the Dental Implant Center, I knew more about her qualifications and educational background, than any Dr I've ever visited - in my own country. I even spoke to prior patients to get their opinion of the service they received.
Dr. Moreno impressed me from the first phone conversation we had. We also exchanged many emails, in which all of my questions were answered satisfactorily.
From the moment I walked into the Dental Implant Center, I had their attention 100%. The staff was warm and welcoming.
They are very hard working and dedicated to their patients.
Dr. Moreno arranged for my hotel stay in an excellent and convenient hotel nearby. She even negotiated a discount for me, with the concierge.
As for the dental work, they worked like a well-oiled machine.
I could go on for a long time singing the praises of Dr Moreno and her staff. To sum it up:,I have never felt for a second that I had made the wrong decision.

The nylon stitch is due to the condition, present. I needed a cleaner and tight closure for more than 15 days due to the graft. I am glad the graft took so well. Sorry but other type of stiching is out of the question, in this case. The best thing is that your effort holding this, made the site evolved well. Thank you for your effort too!.

I was very pleased with the treatment.
My experience with this dentist was absolutely amazing. She worked tirelessly & took great care to ensure that every aspect of my treatment was not just completed, but as near perfection as possible.
Her attention to detail is unparalleled. There has only been 1 other dentist whom I had ever met in my extensive experience in the dental chair, who was near her level of competence, but he has long since quit his practice. To have found such a unique professional to replace him was truly a blessing to me, and all that expertise at such a reasonable price. Even with several cross country trips & hotel stays, the savings was still substantial. Granted, a cross country trip every time I need some minor dental work is not feasible, but for large amount of work I was faced with, her services worked out wonderfully for me.
My case was fairly complex, as I had been in an accident several years prior, and I needed several bone grafts to build up the upper ridge enough to facilitate proper implant placement.
Due to my own physiology, the bone grafts weren't sufficient enough to complete the implant surgery. So what did this woman do to remedy my case?
She flew me to Guadalajara to meet with one of the top Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons in the country. No only did she pay for the surgery, she also paid for airfare, lodging, meals & medication.
The outcome was successful, leaving me with enough bone to finish the implant surgery.
While in Guadalajara, she also showed me around town, including the area where she also owns another clinic. She took the time to introduced me to some of her friends and family, and drove me around wherever I needed to go. What a gracious host.
Would you recommend the clinic?
Yes. I would highly recommend Dra. Moreno.
What also amazed me about her service was her honesty, integrity & work ethic. If she encountered a problem, as does occasionally happen in dentistry, she will tell you about it. Even if it means extra work or expense on her part. I was most impressed by this.

Yes. I would definitely return if I ever needed a large amount of work. I see a local dentist for the usual check-ups, fillings, cleanings and other minor work, but if am ever faced with a major dental expense again, she would be the first dentist I would contact.

I was absolutely pleased with the result. Dr. Moreno was a superb dentist (DDS-Michigan trained!) and the implant procedure went flawlessly. She is as good as any dentist I have ever used. Also, she speaks perfect English.

I came from Denver, Colorado in the United States. I am very pleases with my treatment. I have a rare condition called Emelio Genesis Imprefecta and Dra. Moreno was very knowledgeable in all aspects. She quoted me around 12 thousand dollars, a very reasonable price. I had to get all of my teeth capped and in the US it would be around 50 thousand dollars.

I am writing to inform you that I found a dentist on your website, Dr. Maite Moreno in Tijuana, Mexico, and I thought you should know that I am very happy with the work she performed on me. Dr. Moreno not only has very good bedside manner, but she is also extremely knowledgeable about her line of work.

I would highly reccommend her to anyone with a rare dental disease, or anyone looking to improve their smile. It is obvious that Dr. Moreno takes pride in her work, and the end result(s) of her treatment for me show that

Also, many dentists in America were hesitant to take my case because they were afraid of commiting a serious error, such as hitting a nerve in my teeth, etc., as my condition has caused my teeth to be extremely fragile. When I sought the help of Dr. Moreno, she did not hesitate to take my case. In fact, she was excited to do so and she immediately went to work on a plan of treatment for me.
She found a way to correct my bite without me having to get braces or the costly surgery. My teeth now look like real teeth, if not even better, and I had no pain while I was under her care. I think Dr. Moreno should be recognized as a top dentist in her country and should be allowed to lecture at American Universities so that she can show future Prosthodontists how to handle rare cases such as mine.
