crowns, bridges, extractions, remedial work
I must admit, like so many, I was very extremely frightened at the thought of going to a dentist in Tijuana, I was “dragged” there by a friend and to my delight, the experience was life saving. Here is my story:
A few years ago I was gravely ill with an implant that failed causing an infection that was life threatening. The dentist that originally performed the work let me down, and did nothing to help me. On my first visit to Dr. de la Vega for a consultation he refused to let me leave his office until he at the least removed the source of the infection. I hesitantly agreed, I was after all there only for a consultation and felt that he was rushing me, giving me a “sales pitch”. He explained exactly what he was going to do step by step, he told me how many visits it should take and how much it would cost. I am very pleased with the results, the price, the amount of time and the number of trips it took to accomplish my new beautiful smile. I have never, before Dr. de la Vega, had a dentist that truly cared, contacted me throughout the procedure or was so personable.
In the years since my treatment, I have taken about 10 people to Dr. de la Vega and each and every one of them has had the same great experience. I bring them to their appointments not only to make them feel more comfortable about their ordeal and usually the first trip is a scary thing for most of them because of all the media hype about the dangers of going to Mexico.
I park on the US side, walk across the border and take a 5 minute, $5 taxi ride to the office.
The small office is clean and pleasant, he even has magazines in English in the waiting room. Dr. de la Vega and his associates will make you feel very comfortable. Each and every one of them is trained and knowledgeable.
