Claudette US
Reviewed 23 December 2015 "They explained each part of the braces procedure"
"I had braces put in my teeth. The staff was very nice and professional. They explained each part of the procedure and tried to make me as comfortable as possible. They were very accommodating because we arrived 30 minutes late and they still fit us in to the schedule. I had to have something adjusted and they did it on the fly.

The was very nice, clean and comfortable. I felt very relaxed and comfortable in the atmosphere that they created. The x-ray machine used was more modern than the machine used by my doctor here in the US."
Miss Aby Ramirez responded to this review:

Dear Claudette, thank you for choosing us as your dental providers. We look forward on seeing you and all your family soon. It is always a pleasure for our team to make all our patients feel comfortable and make them real happy. Have a great day. Best regards, Aby.

Dru New Braunfels, TX
Reviewed 21 May 2016 "I felt perfectly comfortable and at ease"
"My daughter needed over 2,500 worth of dental work based on her US dentist. We had used Dr. Benitez several times in the past so I emailed them to inquire. I received a call the same day from Aby. I forwarded her the X-rays and had a quote the next day. Needless to say it was a mere fraction of the price. We spent the weekend and they were able to complete her treatment. Didn't even have to take her braces off! I took her back to her dentist and she received a cavity free report! So pleased I'm taking a couple of friends down in a week to get their dental work done.

Very clean and modern. I felt perfectly comfortable and at ease."
Miss Aby Ramirez responded to this review:

Hi Ms. Goulart thanks for choosing us as your dental care providers. I'm really glad you girls felt comfortable with us. We look forward on seeing you in the future. Take care, kind regards, Aby

Sandra Houston, TX 77058
Reviewed 16 May 2016 "Good experience"
"3 implants, multiple crowns. The cost for all of the work I needed to have done was over $20,000 in the U.S. I did some research on the internet first & narrowed down my choices to which clinic had the best reviews. My dental clinic in the U.S. advised me to use an endodontist or an oral surgeon rather than a dentist in Mexico because of the complexity of implants. Opting for the strongest material, titanium, I paid a little more but overall about 25% of what I would've paid at home.

This clinic is deceiving in size, since the waiting area is 1/3 of the overall length of building, then it continues to include probably 6 dental cubes, state of the art x-ray machine, and also the upstairs is where the crowns are made....it's quite the place. Dr. Alejandro Benetiz is fantastic, very skilled & caring. I also had great work from his dentist wife, and everyone who assisted in my two visits so far with particular thanks to Aby, the bi-lingual patient coordinator. I was a little nervous entering the town after walking over the border bridge, but the dental clinic is one of the 1st on the main street and the people of Progresso are very friendly."
Miss Aby Ramirez responded to this review:

Hi Ms. Ramsay. Thank you for choosing us as your dental care providers. It's a pleasure for all of us to help all of our patients. We look froward on seeing you soon. Thanks for taking your time posting this awesome review, the more reviews we get, the better it is for the rest of the patients that visit our clinic. Take care. Best regards, Aby

$150  -  $250
Bone Graft

Bone grafting is a surgical procedure that replaces missing bone in order to repair bone fractures that are extremely complex, pose a significant health risk to the patient, or fail to heal properly.

Bone generally has the ability to regenerate completely but requires a very small fracture space or some sort of scaffold to do so. Bone grafts may be autologous (bone harvested from the patient’s own body, often from the iliac crest), allograft (cadaveric bone usually obtained from a bone bank), or synthetic (often made of hydroxyapatite or other naturally occurring and biocompatible substances) with similar mechanical properties to bone. Most bone grafts are expected to be reabsorbed and replaced as the natural bone heals over a few months’ time.

$650  -  $660
Braces
Dental braces

 (also known as braces

orthodontic cases

, or cases

) are devices used in orthodontics

 that align and straighten teeth

and help to position them with regard to a person's bite, while also working to improve dental health. They are often used to correct underbites

, as well as malocclusions

, overbites

, open bites, deep bites

, cross bites

, crooked teeth, and various other flaws of the teeth

 and jaw

. Braces can be either cosmetic or structural. Dental braces are often used in conjunction with other orthodontic appliances to help widen the palate

 or jaws

and to otherwise assist in shaping the teeth and jaws.

$60  -  $70
Dental Bonding

Bonding is the application of a tooth-colored composite resin (plastic) to repair a decayed, chipped, fractured or discolored tooth. Unlike veneers, which are manufactured in a laboratory and require a customized mold to achieve a proper fit, bonding can be done in a single visit. The procedure is called bonding because the material bonds to the tooth.

$600  -  $610
Dental Bridges
$200  -  $210
Dental Crowns
$350  -  $370
Zirconia Crown

Zirconium crowns and bridges are so strong they can be used anywhere in the mouth. Zirconium crowns can withstand the biting pressure of the front teeth as well as back teeth grinding.

The look of zirconium crowns and bridges is so close to natural teeth that it is hard to tell the difference and it is this quality which makes it very useable within dental work. Zirconium crowns can be fixed using traditional dental cements.

Zirconium crowns have quickly become the preferred material for dental crowns. Zirconium is a very strong substance that can endure wear and tear of everyday use. When looking at Zirconium crowns from an aesthetic point it is clear and very similar to a natural tooth and reflects light the same way. This may be important if your new crowns are on the front of your mouth and it is particularly relevant in cases where the crown will be seen next to the natural teeth.

$1000  -  $1100
Dental Implants

This method employs a non-submerged one-piece implant that has a metal collar designed to protrude through the gum while the bone is healing to the implant. After a suitable healing time, an abutment can be connected to the implant, allowing for fabrication of the crown to replace the missing tooth. Alternatively, a one-stage technique can be achieved by immediate connection of a temporary healing abutment to a two-piece implant that protrudes through the gum in much the same way as a one-piece implant. Both single stage and two-stage implants have similar success rates and you should ask your dentist which systems they use and discuss how one- or two-stage procedures might be appropriate for you.

$10  -  $50
Dental X-Ray

Radiographs, commonly know as x-rays, are an essential tool for your CDA member dentist to properly diagnose your oral health. They allow your dentist to see beyond what can be seen visually and provide the ability to diagnose dental disease in the early stages– before it has advanced to the point of causing discomfort and destruction. X-rays assist the dentist in determining the presence and degree of dental caries (cavities), periodontal disease, abscesses and abnormal growths, such as tumors or cysts. They also show the location and condition of impacted or unerupted teeth.

Extractions

Wisdom teeth, or third molars, do not always erupt properly when they decide to make an appearance. It's wise to get an early opinion from your dentist on getting wisdom teeth removed before they become impacted, causing pain, swelling, infection, cavities or gum disease.

$50  -  $60
Fillings

Composite is the filling of choice when it comes to matching your tooth color. Composite fillings consist of plastic and glass particles. They have become the most popular filling material because in addition to closely resembling your existing tooth color they also solidly bond or glue to the tooth. Also, they don’t contain mercury or any other metal like silver fillings and there is less likelihood of sensitivity to cold food and drinks.

$170  -  $190
Inlay or Onlay

In dentistry, an inlay is usually an indirect restoration (filling) consisting of a solid substance (as gold, porcelain or less often a cured composite resin) fitted to a cavity in a tooth and cemented into place. This technique involves fabricating the restoration outside of the mouth using the dental impressions of the prepared tooth, rather than placing a soft filling into the prepared tooth before the material sets hard.

An onlay is the same as an inlay, except that it incorporates a replacement for a tooth cusp by covering the area where the missing cusp would be. Crowns are onlays which completely cover all surfaces of a tooth.

$80  -  $100
Mouth Guard

A night guard is a thin piece of hard plastic made from impressions of your teeth placed on the upper or lower teeth.

Night guard is hard and durable, but it protects the teeth from wear since it is softer than teeth.

Night guard is adjusted to fit your bite evenly and smoothly when you try it.

$200  -  $210
Root canals

A root canal treatment generally involves the removal and replacement of a tooth’s pulp. The pulp is soft tissue containing blood vessels, nerves and connective tissue. When the pulp is diseased or injured, the pulp tissue dies. If you don't remove it, your tooth gets infected and you could lose it. During a root canal, the dentist removes the pulp, and the root canal is cleaned and sealed off to protect it. Afterwards, the dentist places a crown over the tooth to help make it stronger.

$25  -  $40
Teeth Cleaning

During a dental cleaning, you’ll receive diagnostic and preventive services from your dentist as well as any needed educational information.

$40  -  $100
Scaling and Root Planing

If plaque and tartar is left on the teeth, as we mentioned before

, it provides the right conditions for bacteria to thrive. The bacteria irritate the gums, which means that they bleed more easily. You may notice this if you are brushing your teeth, or eating, and sometimes your gums may bleed a bit. This is the early stage of gum disease called gingivitis

. If you have gingivitis, your dentist or hygienist will clean your teeth by scaling and polishing

them. They may also recommend an antiseptic mouthwash and show you how to brush and floss your teeth effectively. Most adults have some degree of gum disease.

$200  -  $210
Teeth Whitening

The whitening process consists of bleaching stained or dull teeth. A dazzling smile is only a simple and painless procedure away!

$350  -  $400
Veneers

Laminate veneers are a conservative treatment of unaesthetic anterior teeth. The continued development of dental ceramics offers clinicians many options for creating highly aesthetic and functional porcelain veneers. This evolution of materials, ceramics, and adhesive systems permits improvement of the aesthetic of the smile and the self-esteem of the patient. Clinicians should understand the latest ceramic materials in order to be able to recommend them and their applications and techniques, and to ensure the success of the clinical case. The current literature was reviewed to search for the most important parameters determining the long-term success, correct application, and clinical limitations of porcelain veneers.
