I am about 9 steps past very happy with how things went. Having said that you have to understand that dental work and colonoscopies are equally popular with me. The work that was undertaken and accomplished in a week was amazing both in terms of scale and results.
The care and attention I received far exceeded anything I have experienced in Canada. As a 60 year who has lived with poor dental health for 40 years I have a very broad field to draw from for comparisons.
If you are contemplating anything close to major dental work I would strongly recommend that you book a consultation. It is free, educational, painless and well worth your time.
I have to conclude by saying that the very extensive work I had done (ie every tooth in my mouth) cost very close to $16,500.00. My Canadian dentist quoted me $12,500.00 to restore 4 (four) yep - 4 teeth. Ballpark for all the work that needed to be done according to my Canadian dentist - $55,000.00 - $60,000.00. So not only did I save $40,000.00 I had the work done by more professional people in a what I consider to be a state of the art facility. Certainly far more technologically advanced than the dentists I have seen in Canada.
I am a professional accountant. As a generalization I refuse to recommend anyone for anything. There are way too many uncontrollable variables.
I would recommend this clinic and these people without hesitation to anyone.
If you do wind up going please tell them that Max says hello. And if you could ask which one of the gorgeous ladies I asked to marry me I would appreciate it.

I was extremely pleased. If you go to the web site you will see videos of procedures. This had a great influence on my decision. Then I contacted the clinic with lots of questions. They were all answered to my satisfaction and a price for each type of dental work was quoted and nothing varied from that when I got there. I was so impressed with the English everyone spoke and the beauty and cleanliness of the clinic. It is in a large shopping mall which made going there more fun. I have to say I was taken care of better then I have been at most dental offices. I went to one of the large implant clinics in the United States and the price quoted was impossible and the sales pitch threw me off. There was none of that at the Cancun clinic. I decided, they told me how much it would cost and that was that. My dental problems came from acid reflux and my teeth were just crumbling. I had the remaining fourteen teeth pulled and the pins for the the dentures were inserted on the same day. I'm not saying it was totally comfortable as that is a huge invasion to the body but it would of been the same anywhere and I was made as comfortable as possible. I made the decision not to get implants but go with clip on dentures and I am very happy with them. I'm on Social Security so I have no dental in the States and while I was there I met many couples and individuals from both the States and Canada who had come down there as I had. Some where getting work done over a period of time. Everyone one I talked to was happy with their work.
It's been 17 days since I returned and I haven't had a bit of trouble and the teeth feel like my own. I just can't say enough about the medical and emotional care I received.

I am very pleased with the results, price and quality of work. Two years ago, two of my teeth cracked from so many old fillings and the rest were questionable. I sent x-rays and visited and got the quote for a full mouth makeover. They went over and above what had originally been quoted without extra charge. I just today, two years later, returned from my first check-up and cleaning here in the States and was told the quality of work is remarkable and I should be happy I had found such a great dental team. I am very happy I found such a great dental team!!! Thank you Dr. German & team, and special thanks to Camilla, mi amiga. I do wish I could afford to come to Mexico for cleanings too!

I had the great opportunity to travel to Cancun to get a dental implant at Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry, that I couldn't begin to afford in Canada. I was very surprised at the high quality of treatment and the skill of the surgeon. Everything went smoothly with minimal discomfort. All the personnel treated me with kindness and courtesy that I never see back in Canada. I went to Cancun on vacation and decided to get some dental work done while I was there. I contacted a few places but this one was the only one who got back to me. Paty was quite persistent on following up with my phone calls and emails. We discussed some stuff before I got there and I decided to make an appointment. She kindly picked me up the morning of my appointment at the hotel I was staying at. The dental offices (there were two, located in the same mall) were very clean and very high tech and professional. Everyone was so friendly. They did some x-rays and discussed with me what I needed, what I wanted, and what I could afford. They worked with me on a price I could afford. I got the entire upper part of my mouth fixed, crowns and bridges put in. The dentists all worked together as a team. They were all so friendly,gentle and really cared about the process and the results. I am so happy I can finally really truly smile again. They matched my teeth colour perfectly and they look very natural. I came in a total of three times during the ten days I was there. All of the dentists are very professional and are truly talented and skilled at what they do. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs dental work but cannot afford the high prices of the United States. It is not only so much less expensive but the quality of their work is top quality. I plan to go back in the future to have the bottom part of my teeth done. I saved several thousand dollars, and had a beautiful vacation too. I want to give a special thanks to my dentist, Reynaldo, for being so careful and gentle and sweet and also to Paty for helping to bring all of it together for me. Muchos Gracias

I am very pleased with the treatment so far. I will be returning to have the balance of what is required to be done in the near future.
The price was as quoted. The service and attention were way above anything I have experienced thus far in Canada. I have spent a tremendous amount of time and money "saving" my teeth. Apparently much of the money was wasted on supporting the tremendous incomes and over the top life styles of Canadian dentists.
I have had implants done and will be getting a number of root canals and crowns done on my next visit.

I went to the clinic to do the snap on denture (mini implant). The quote was clear and the final bill was the same as what I was informed. The procedure was completed with very little pain, I was able to go on a 12 hour tour to Chichen Itza and have solid food on the next day. As the process took only 6 days, there is no need for temporary denture, making the process convenient and economical.

Every needle that went in my mouth was open in front of my eyes and everything was clean and sanitized. Is the Doctor knowledgeable? Yes. How much money did I save? $30,000. Absolutely. After we were dropped at the door to the office, we were greeted by Patricia with a warm welcome. She continued to monitor us throughout our appointment and negotiated a good taxi rate for our return to the resort. The efficiency, cleanliness, knowledge and genuine caring by the dentists and staff are something I have never experienced before in any dental or medical office. Dr. Arzate explained everything in detail about the implant process. After downloading my x-rays onto an iPad I could visually see what was going to happen. This really put me at ease. The dental implants were inserted in a painless procedure that took less than 45 minutes. My wife, a formal dental technician, also had an appointment. Her teeth were cleaned, whitened, a mould made and two small cavities filled. She ended up getting a troublesome tooth pulled and bone grafts installed in the root system in preparation of her getting an implant when we return to Cancun in December. Will I recommend 'CCD'? Absolutely! They are knowledgeable, caring and professional while making you feel like you have been a friend for years. Thanks Patricia, Dr. Arzate and staff. See you in December.

I received dental treatment in March of 2012 and wanted to wait a few months before writing my review. I hope you find it helpful. First, I am 53 years old, I went to a local dentist here in Satellite Beach, FL (Dr LaSasso) and received a plan to correct my dental issues, and $14,847.00 was the quote. I did much research and chose Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry Clinic in Mexico. They quoted me $5495.00. I booked my trip, hotel (IBIS Hotel) and flight was 625.00 to stay in Cancun for the week. The clinic fee dropped to 4855.00 upon evaluation. This is because the US dentist was doing things that were not necessary, how surprising! The clinic was clean; the staff were very courteous and very helpful. I received one root canal, 5 extractions and a 10 piece fixed permanent upper bridge. I will add this was all completed in 6 days! I have had nothing but compliments to my beautiful new smile and the teeth couldn't be better. Very precise shape, sharp, and sturdy. I would recommend to anyone who needs extensive dental work to visit Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry Clinic and do not feed these greedy US dentist. I would like to thank Paty for her help and constant attention throughout my visit. I will return this fall to have my lower dental work completed, I wouldn't go anywhere else! I am very pleased with the results. I was picked up at my hotel, free of charge and it made me feel secure. Patricia did a great job in coordinating my appointments. Dr German was very good in explaining the work to be done. Dr Samuel did the actual work on my four crown. I went to my dentist here in BC and he said it was great workmanship. He would actually refer his patients that can't afford the Canadian prices for dental work to this clinic. The price for 4 crowns was 1,800US, a big difference, it would have cost me over 5,000CDN. Glad that I found Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry

I am so glad that I found Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry. The dentists who have worked on me there (Primarily German Arzate and Cesar Ibanez) were professional and helpful in making my experience a pleasant one. Over the last year I have visited Cancun twice for to get considerable work done: Three implants with abutments and crowns, three other crowns and a root canal. This work would have cost me between $25,000 and $30,000 in Canada and my dental plan did not cover the most part. I was facing either having all my teeth pulled or bankrupting my family. As it turned out, my wife and I took two holidays to the Riviera Maya, I got the needed dental work done, and the total cost (including flights and hotels) was still less than half of what it would have cost me in Canada. Lastly, and most importantly, I was able to afford to keep my teeth. Follow-up inspection by my dentist at home confirmed that all the work was done at least as well as if I had the work done in Canada. I cannot thank you enough.

Camille, and Patti were helpful , interesting and supportive. Tony had suggested names of hotels in convenient locations near the clinic.
When the driver we had found was unavailable Mary Ellen introduced us to Willy Herman who was so kind and good humored as he drove us back and forth. We changed hotels to stay at the beach the last few days and had met with much confusion in doing so. Willy went in with us to register and spoke to the people there to be sure everything was as we had understood it. After a cancelled flight, very hard travel and many detailed arrangements, this meant more than we could ever say. Willy pointed out how safe Cancun was for visitors, and shared colorful stories and was accommodating to our spontaneous schedule. He was so pleasant and courtly and took a great deal of stress out of our transport to the clinic. Thank you so much Willy.
We love Mexico and have traveled there much in the past; but not in the last ten years. It was a wonderful experience to be again with the warm-hearted people of Mexico and help them celebrate their Independence Day. Mike is doing well and we are happily sharing our positive experience with

Thank you so much for making my vacation successful and helping me get my teeth in order. It was a real pleasure meeting you and being the patient in your clinic. It felt more like a visit to a relaxing spa, then a visit to a doctor. And, rest assured that my American dentist can not even come close to the care that you provide.
I especially want to thank Paty, the patient coordinator who made me feel at ease, welcome and ensured that I understood the best options for myself.
I had the best doctor in the world. Doctor Olivia. NO pain, people. She asked me how I was every 5 minutes and even gave me big hugs on my way out. She even waited for me till 9pm to come back from my vacation excursion to finish my tooth!

I am very pleased with the whole process. I strated with full xrays and then we sat down and everything was explained very carefully. I wanted the best that they had to offer. They gave me two options. I chose the one I liked the best. Everyone who worked there was kind and personable. They spoke English very well so there was no communication problem ever. Having a personal liason was also a plus. Tony was wonderful. I was treated better than if I were in the States by this wonderful staff. I would have had to pay $85,000 for the work I had done if I had gone to a local Dentist and it would have taken a year to complete. I am everyone about a wonderful experience. I am gratefull that I found them.

My treatment was having mini implants upper and lower dentures. The doctor and staff were very efficient and friendly. The work was done in 1 visit, and returned for adjustment only. They kept a taxi for me constantly. I feel very happy with the treatment received. All the staff is very friendly as well. Doctor German is well educated and professional. Just yesterday I went to visit my dentist here in Florida so he could check that I received the proper dental work and after a check up he said my dental work- including one dental implant and a four unit bridge is perfectly performed.

Were you pleased with the treatment? Answer: Quite frankly, I was very apprehensive on visiting foreign dentists. Apprehensive about cost and treatment. This was my first time. Both treatment and cost were discussed with me prior to work, and after satisfactory discussion, I agreed to the treatment. Throughout the process I was nervous, but staff assured me nothing to worry about. There was little, if any, pain. When the treatment was over, I was startled and very impressed with their work, and I recommend them to anyone in the world. I shall make them my personal dentist(s) for future visits and check-ups.

My inlays are perfect

I was scared at first but as soon as I started getting treatment I knew Ceasar was experienced. I was taken in without a long wait. I explained what needed to be done and within no time it was done.
I did get Montezumas revenge, I dont know if it was from the water being used with the drills or if I got it at the hotel.
Would you recommend the clinic?
English speaking doctors so there was no problem with that. My inlays are perfect and I feel good that I am taking care of my teeth for the future. They also look great , no more silver fillings.
Would you return for further treatment?
Lets put it this way. I will never have work done in US again. Why not get a vacation out of my money along with excellent teeth care.

This was probably the best experience I've had at a dentist. This dental clinic fixed me up as good as new. The whole staff is very friendly and makes you feel right at home. I love the fact that Dr. German explains everything he's going to do before he does it and makes sure it's ok with you. They walk you through everything. I highly recommend Dr. German and his staff. I am not a very easily pleased person, especially when it comes to my mouth. I have seen a number of dentists here in the US and they all wanted to crown all my teeth or sell me something I didn't need. Then I met Dr. German. He was different. He listened to me, and only recommended what I really needed. And, his work was the best. I am very happy to recommend him. I can't say enough about Dr. German, as a person and a dentist. I was terrified of going to Mexico to get dental work but once there, his office and he were very pleasant and comforting. This is a very good dental clinic and all the staff is caring and were always trying to make me feel comfortable. Highly recommended. Please use my name as reference.

I was very please with the entire experience. They were on time and did a lot of work for me in only one week. (10 crowns, 2 overlays, 6 root canals and a 3 unit bridge) all in a week!
The Doctors and support staff are well dressed and professional, the office is very clean and comfortable and the staff is polite and anxious to make sure you are not in pain at any time. All the doctors speak English very well. Even though there was no pain, having all of the above work performed in that time period required sitting in a dentist chair for long periods of time as much as eight hours and having 3 dentist working in one day, But they do the best they can to make you as comfortable as possible.

I would highly recommend Doctor German Arzate and his entire staff.

Excellent, competent, professional treatment. The price was very economical and exactly what was quoted.
Summary of my experience:
I was at Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry from August 18-25, 2010, where I had three mini implants, with a fixed bridge for the three lower right molars, nineteen crowns, and a root canal. On October 22, 2010 through November 3, 2010, I returned for bi-lateral sinus lifts and bone grafts for the upper molars on both sides, including three implant screws on each side. I will be returning again in eight months of so for the completion of this rather extensive dental work,
Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry is extremely competent, professional, fast, state-of-the-art, and far less expensive than what I had been quoted by prosthodontists in NJ. In addition, the experience was almost completely painless, and Dr. German and his staff are genuinely warm and friendly. Overall, my experience with Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry was superior to any prior dental experience in the U.S. Incidentally, I’m an attorney and I work for an established law firm that is engaged primarily in litigation (trial work), so my appearance is important to my profession. I couldn’t be more pleased with my new smile.

Where do I start? From smart, competent Camila, with whom I was in contact for months before taking the plunge, to Dr.German, Dr. Pia, Dr. Cesar, to Paty the warm, compassionate patient coordinator (who actually held my hand through all of this) and all the lab technicians... this is a terrific dental team! The work they accomplish in a short amount of time is nothing short of miraculous. In about 4 days (stretched over a week) this is what Dr. German did for me, all for less than $10,000.00 US
a) a full fixed 10 unit porcelain bridge to replace my implant retained upper denture.
b) a lower right 4 unit porcelain bridge
c) a lower left 3 unit porcelain bridge
d) 7 mini implants added to the 5 that my own dentist in Canada has already installed.
d) a renewed sense of self-confidence a wonderful smile.
e) much tender loving care.
Dr.German was upfront and realistic about what could be done and discussed with me the possible outcomes for all this work, He was also unafraid to discuss prices ( which are quite transparent) and was able to adhere to my budget and even threw in some extra work free of charge.

Let me preface my comments with the fact that I'm a born and bred new yorker (brooklyn no less) and that makes me an automatic skeptic when i see something i would pay for here in the states versus what the clinic's pricing is....the what's the catch or cant be as good flags immediately go up. well after discussing the treatment plan that my US dentist(s) wanted to do and what Dr. German was able to do and the associated cost, the flags were packed away. No surprises, a patient comes first ethic and excellent work. From Dr.s German, Pia, Ceasar to Camila, Anthony and the rest of the office staff to Juan the driver who takes you for your first visit, they validate your decision for doing whatever work you came for.
Would you recommend the clinic?
The cost savings may get you down to the clinic, but the staff and the quality of the work will make you come back. My recommendation pales in comparison to an even tougher customer, my wife, that accompanied me. She was so nervous and concerned on the morning of the first visit that i thought she was going to be ill; when we we were done with the whole process a few days later she was hugging Dr.s and staff and still hasnt stopped telling people how good it was.

Absolutely. All the equipment was squeaky clean as was the staff. I had a 25 yr old gold crown with a hole in it removed. Upon removal, the whole tooth underneath crumbled !! I knew right away that was not good ! I had a similar experience with a crumbled molar before, so I wasn't surprised. So more work was needed, and the over all price was still 1/3 of what it would have cost in Minnesota. I was also provided with a prescription for pain relievers and antibiotics. I was also offered the type of anthesia I preferred.
Would you recommend the clinic?
I already have ! Emphatically. Five different people had their fingers in my mouth, including 3 different dentists. Everyone checked everyone else's work, so no mistakes were made. They were more conscientious than any of my dentists in the states.
Would you return for further treatment?
Of course, hopefully next year for needed work, then after that for cosmetic work.

Superb work from all
Were you pleased with the treatment?
My wife was fitted for Dentures on mini Implants and now she is smiling all the time and so happy, and it is all down to Dr German and his patience and professionalism. My wife was very nervous to say the least but with his calming and friendly attitude she soon relaxed and trusted him and his wonderful staff and life has changed. Superb work from all.

Very! Me, my sister and my brother-in-law went for a dental tour in Cancun to this clinic. We did not know what to expect but believe me it was the best idea ever! The clinic is super clean, all the staff is very friendly, they performed amazing dental work on the 3 of us and we saved a lot of money. I guess we all saved like 12,000 dollars approximately. Also, I must mention that I had no pain at all! Amazing experience and Doctor German is the most professional. Also we had the most incredible vacation. Everything was just great!

This is the most professional clinic out there and they are the nicest persons you could ever meet. All the doctors are always trying to make you comfortable. The clinic is clean and its crowded always which means that they are really good at what they do. In my experience, I could not receive a better service from this clinic and all the staff.

After the bad press i had recently heard about Mexico i was a little concerned about going, but the holiday was paid up, so off me and my family went. And what a good choice we made, had the best time in Cancun and the work Doctor German Arzate did for me has made such a difference to my life. I can finally chew the way i should! No one of the Dentist back home were able to perform what this Doctor did. Such an amazing job!

All the staff went beyond the call of duty. The service was impeccable. and the manager or booking agent Camila was also amazing. Offering transportation to and from appointments... We were in Cancun for one week and what they did in one week bordered on a miracle. Complete upper and lower denture implants for me and bridge and extraction for my wife. The service was beyond good and friendly it was more like being part of an extended family with everyone in the clinic helping.

I have been telling everyone that I know since I got home how well they treated us and have sent out several emails telling people about German Arzate and his whole family. This is the best kept secret in Cancun.

We are returning in Sept. and are looking forward to to seeing German even more than Playa Del Carmen.

My husband and I had a considerable amount of dental work done which included cleanings, root canals, crowns, and dental posts. Upon arrival and during the consultation, Dr. German and his staff of professionals quickly put us at ease. The procedures were performed with little or no pain, and we had our permanent crowns in a few days.

We highly recommend planning a “dental vacation” with Mayan Dental. Save money, enjoy the beautiful turquoise water, soft white sand, and wonderful hospitality of the people while getting a beautiful new smile!

My wife and I went to see Dr. German with a list of problems. Dr. German sent a taxi to pick us up at the hotel, and upon arrival at the clinic we were immediately made welcome. I can truly say that I have never been treated better by any dentist in Europe or the United Kingdom. The staff at Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry is very friendly, speaks perfect English, and is very, very good at their job! I have never felt better in any dentist's chair. We were given very good advise, and Dr. German took all the time we needed for our first consultation. We are very happy with the work Dr. German and his colleagues did for us. And last but not least: we had a beautiful holiday, and still saved thousands of dollars compared to just the cost of the dental treatment in Canada.

I have told all my colleagues and friends: you HAVE to go to Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry for your next dental treatment! Where else can you have a good time, get top quality dental treatment and save loads of money at the same time?

My smile is awesome
Were you pleased with the treatment?
My smile was such an improvement, for a few weeks my cheeks hurt from smiling so much. I have a grin all day now. I recently saw a picture of me before, and the new smile took 20 years off my face. My original plan was remove all my old teeth and have new dentures. After xrays and a thorough exam I sat with Dr German for a very long time discussing all of the options and costs. My first visit just for the exam took longer any any dentist visit before. He was that thorough and explained in detail every thing I wanted to know. Never rushed.
Then came the time for the work. I will ask for shorter periods in the chair. Those guys work so hard time does fly. Dr Louis is the root canal king! It was actually a fun day, rough with all the dental work but the staff makes it fun. I got 5 root canals done, an upper bridge done and caps along the bottom. I estimate I spent 1/3 of the cost of getting the work done in my hometown.
My smile is AWESOME!

I tell strangers to go see Dr German in Cancun, I am telling anyone reading this, go see Dr German.

I was very pleased with the entire experience. They were on time and did a lot of work for me in only one week. (6 crowns, two overlays, one root canal, and one bone graft with sinus lift, and one laser whiting, all in a week!).
The Doctors and support staff are well dressed and professional, the office is very clean and comfortable and the staff is polite and anxious to make sure you are not in pain at any time. Some of the dentist are struggling with English, but they are working on it Dr German and Camila speak English very well.
Even though there was no pain, having all of the above work performed in that itme period required sitting in a dentist chair for long periods of time as much as eight hours and having 3 dentist working in one day in no walk in the park!!!
Would you recommend the clinic?
I would highly recommend Doctor German Arzate Garza and his entire staff.
Would you return for further treatment?
I will diffenately be back for implants once the bone graft takes. Nothing to worry about with this doctor and his operation.

I am very happy with what Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry did with my upper dental problems. So, I decided to go back to Cancun to see Dr German again in December.
What I need is upper right side implants and fixing the lower part.
When I saw Cancun first time in 1981 I fell in love with that place. I would not mind a bit to visit you every year to get a cleaning and do a check up on my dental progress.
Dr Arzate is not just a dentist but an ARTIST.

Changing my smile was one of the best things I have ever done in my entire life. I had a complete makeover performed by doctor German and I feel so different in so many ways.
Would you recommend the clinic?
Without a question. Doctor German changed the way I even look myself at the mirror. All my life I had problem with my teeth and felt extremely bad about the way I looked. My life changed after my makeover. I have more confidence.

Without a question. The facility is super clean, prices are just the same as Latin America, had lots of fun in Cancun and Doctor German is really the best! He is highly qualified, friendly and professional.

I have to say I was a little apprenhensive at the begininng of the thought of going to Mexico but the staff made me feel at ease and were with me each step of the way. Doctor German was excellent and spoke perfect english and even the driver that picked me up for my appointment. With huge savings my daughter and I had the best vacation ever and my new veneers has changed my smile but my life, everyone is commenting on how great I look. Highly recommended professional company so much so I will be back again in March 2010 to stay in the same hotel but my friend will be getting veneers this time.

Treated with the utmost respect, would recommend Doctor German, great energy and an excellent dentist.
