Dr. Rosy Peña, arrived in San Jose del Cabos over 25 years ago and opened the Angel’s Touch Dental Clinic. I began my dental treatment with Dr Rosy 6 months ago, she was recommended by my daughter. I needed a lot of work, including implants, a tooth extracted and caps. There was never any pain, Dr Rosy is gentle and thorough. My time spent with her was efficient and I love her beautiful methods of dentistry. Her staff is great too! She is wonderful!

Were you pleased with the treatment?

I was in contact with Dr Rosy Pena, however by the time I received the response we had booked flight and resort in a different area of Mexico. The dentist in Melaque (where we stayed) said I needed a root canal and sent me to Manzanillo - no one would do the crowns then because my gums were recovering and we ran out of time. I am now planning for another trip to Mexico, November or January, this time I hope to come and see Dr Rosy Pena. She was just that nice in her e-mails to me and the price (of course) was very good. I know this is not the response you were hoping for, however even though I haven't been there yet, I intend to come because of how lovely Dr. Rosy Pena was to me in our e-mails.

Would you recommend the clinic?

I've already put the word out to my friends and relatives, that we will be going back and trying your clinic because of how friendly the dentist was to me in our e-mails. I have also passed along your web-site to those I know who travel often and would be open to a dentist visit.

Would you return for further treatment?

this doesn't apply to me yet and i had to select a rating to complete this but couldn't honestly say about location and satisfaction YET :)

Exceeded all my expectations in all areas

Were you pleased with the treatment?

I have marked my experience as nine stars out of ten because I don't hand out perfect scores. Angels touch has in fact exceeded all my expectations in all areas, even those not dental related.

I have just completed the second of what will be a three visit treatment plan. I am very happy with the treatments and the treatment plan.

Dra. Pena has attracted a group of very proficient young professionals to Angels Touch. Tony, for example did my implants. I guess that excellence just attracts excellence. It bodes well for the future of the clinic.

Would you recommend the clinic?

I would, I will, and I do - very highly. The level of professionalism matches or surpasses any that I've found in my own country. The sense of friendly, caring is new though. At Angels Touch they were operating on me - At home they were operating on my wallet and insurance plan.

I have not priced the various treatments that I have taken and are going through. They are fairly priced and are not of concern to anyone else.

Would you return for further treatment?

I will be returning for the third and final treatment.

The price quoted to me for far more extensive treatment was in the range of $6400 USD. My US dentist quoted me a price of $10434 USD without the oral surgeries or the implants.

Would you recommend the clinic?

Yes, of course! What I loved most was their approach to my dental health. Everyone involved was present at the initial evaluation it wasn't a matter of being seen individually by each speciality (which we all know takes weeks to arrange in the US and multiple charges for initial visit and diagnosis).

Would you return for further treatment?

I am returning and have already recommended Angel's Touch to several folks. I was approached by strangers who had learned I had selected to travel to San Jaun del Cabo for treatment. Each wanting to know more about Rosa and her team.

Because porcelain crowns cover your entire tooth, they often provide good solutions for severe problems i.e. a bad fracture, a large filling, a tooth that has had root canal treatment, and in situations where one or several teeth are missing. When teeth cannot be saved, dental implants and bridges are a great option to replace missing teeth. As with other techniques, crowns can correct a wide range of problems. They are durable and strong, so replacements are needed less often. The difference between crowns and laminates (or porcelain inlays) is that more tooth structure is removed. This is required to allow adequate space for the restorative material to have appropriate strength, esthetics... and healthy gum contour. The types of crowns that are commonly used are: 1.Porcelain fused to metal 2.Porcelain jacket crown 3. 100% Porcelain and Art Glass We recently were able to attract one of the finest dental laboratories in Mexico City to move to Los Cabos to work exclusively for us. Dental implants are an effective, safe and predictable solution to the problems resulting from missing teeth. Many patients report exciting benefits from dental implants. Replacement teeth that look, feel and function similar to natural teeth improved taste and appetite, improved cosmetic appearance, the ability to chew without pain or gum irritation, and improved quality of life. Amalgam Filling

Many scientific studies have linked metal amalgams with mercury as a cause for a variety of health problems. The American Dental Assn. and the Canadian Dental Assn. has banned its use and the Government of Germany pays to have these fillings removed and replaced for all their citizens. We use oxygen masks for patient protection and replace the old fillings with resin composite filling material for $150usd per tooth regardless of the number of surfaces.
 

White Filling

We use the latest technology for our cavity fillings. This "White filling" is technically called a Composite Resin. You may have heard of it as Bonding. Composites are made up of a quartz resin and usually contain a light sensitive agent. These light cured composites are extremely cosmetic and most often bonded into place. They can be used in both the front of the mouth as well as in your back teeth. In order to bond a filling material to your tooth it is first necessary to remove the decay, prepare the tooth and then to condition the enamel and dentin. Once conditioned, a thin resin is applied which bonds to the etched surface. The bond strength of these fillings is incredible. Bonding increases the strength of these restorations far beyond those of only a short time ago.

Teeth Whitening

We use the Zoom laser whitening process. It's the latest and most advanced whitening process available. This method treats individuals who want immediate results (without the trouble of home bleaching) In some cases, resistant tooth discoloration can only be corrected using a combination of the In-Office and At-Home bleaching techniques, to effectively whiten teeth. Patients usually see a dramatic shade improvement in less than 45 minutes and generally without the tooth sensitivity that is sometimes associated with the at-home tooth bleaching. The quick, comfortable and effective method is also the safest, because of new advanced laser light system that is used.

The veneer or facing of the tooth consists of porcelain that gives the restoration a natural looking quality.
