Professor Dr. Khoo Suan Phaik graduated with a Dental Degree from Faculty of Dentistry, Universiti Malaya in 1987. Soon after, she completed her Master’s in Oral Pathology at the Eastman Dental Institute, University of London, UK, she went on to obtain her Fellowship in the Oral Medicine specialty from the Faculty of Dentistry, Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland. Dr. Khoo started her academic career at the Universiti Malaya and became Associate Professor in Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine in 1998. Professor Dr. Khoo obtained a PhD (in Orofacial Pain and Temporomandibular Disorders) from the National University of Singapore and in 2008 she joined the International Medical University (IMU) to become one of the founding members of the School of Dentistry in IMU. She is currently the Professor of Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine at IMU. Professor Dr. Khoo has published in various peer-reviewed local and international journals and has lectured and conducted numerous workshops locally and overseas. She is currently the President-Elect for the IADR (Malaysian Section). Her clinical interests are in the area of TMD/Orofacial pain and oral mucosal diseases.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seow graduated with a Degree in Dentistry from the University of Malaya in 1991. She was awarded the PETRONAS scholarship to pursue Master and Fellowship degrees in England in 1995. She returned in 1997 to serve as lecturer at University of Malaya. Later she was awarded the Commonwealth University Split-site scholarship and University of Malaya Study Award to pursue her PhD degree, she obtained PhD degree in 2005. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seow has served as lecturer and senior lecturer in University of Malaya for ten years and currently an Associate Professor and director of Oral Health Centre at the International Medical University, Kuala Lumpur. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seow is actively involved in continuing professional programmes to share her knowledge with fellow colleagues, she has conducted workshops and lectured locally and at numerous countries namely India, Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand, Myanmar, China, Cambodia and Korea. She has published in various peer-reviewed International and local journals. She is the Honorary Publication Secretary of Malaysian Dental Association and Founding President of Malaysian Association for Prosthodontics. She is also Council Member of Asian Academy of Prosthodontics since 2004. She has special interest in aesthetic dentistry, dental materials and prosthodontics.

Restorative & Cosmetic Dentist (Implant, Laser) 

Dr Low Soo Huat started his practice as Restorative and Cosmetic Dentist in Taipei since 1993 after graduated from National Taiwan University. He attended professional training courses of Periodontology & Implantology at University of South California from October 2006 to April 2007 and Implantology at Havard School of Dental Medicine in 2009. He was appointed as the Representative of Taipei Dental Association in North Taipei and also a member of Asian Pacific Laser Institute (APLI). Dr. Low has special interest in full mouth reconstruction.

Dr. Shirleen Wong graduated with a degree in dentistry from Universiti Malaya in 2004. She practiced in government hospital for several years before furthered into private practice. Dr. Shirleen continued her post graduate studies at the Eastman Dental Institute, London and attained MSc Conservative Dentistry from University College London, Unite Kingdom in 2010 and has been in private practice since. Dr. Shirleen is a member of the Malaysian Dental Association and continuously attended various lectures every year. Her field of interest includes aesthetic dentistry and fixed prosthodontics (veneers, crowns, bridges and implants).

Dr. Nazreen graduated with Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree from Universiti Malaya in year 2001. He has been practicing in private clinic since and has many skillful experiences in general dentistry. Dr. Nazreen is a member of the Malaysian Dental Association and attended conferences every year. His field of interest includes restoratives, aesthetics and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr Nursuriati graduated from Universiti Malaya, she did her compulsory dental training in various places including Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Sabah, East Malaysia. Dr. Suria has been practicing in private clinics for many years and has wide experiences in general dental practicing clinical skills. Dr. Suria is a member of Malaysia Dental Association and has several lectures mostly on aesthetic dentistry.

Dr. John has been working with the Ministry of Health Malaysia after attaining his primary qualification from the Gadjah Mada University. He serves as a dental officer in general practice for 3 years in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia and furthered his career in private clinics. Dr. John attended a series of professional training courses on orthodontics and implantology. Dr. John is a member of Malaysian Dental Association and has attended numerous lectures focusing on cosmetic dentistry and laser dentistry. His clinical interests include orthodontics, implants and cosmetic dentistry.
