IMPLANTS We provide Bicon or Ankylos Implants and by so doing we are using the very best in implant systems. To further ensure the utmost in patient care, Dr. Liam has undertaken numerous courses over the years which include achieving a Post Graduate Certificate in Implant Dentistry from Warwick University. He is also a full member of the Association of Dental Implantlogy (A.D.I.). In order to make this very valuable treatment more cost accessible, the total cost of providing the implant including the crowns is €1,700 for the vast majority of cases.
Overdentures with implants is a highly effective and cost effective way of restoring big edentulous gaps particularly recommended to retain, and really stabilize that loose lower denture and crucially furthermore halt the bone resorption. This latter factor means that it is medically recommended for overall health, and hence fundable in part by the V.H.I. Our fee for an implant retained lower denture with two implants starts from €970.
ORTHODONTICS Generally, modern options revolve around the speedy and highly effective Damon system. This is a fixed system which can also use clear brackets and moves not only the teeth orthodontcally, but also aesthetically improves the facial structure i.e. Orthopedics. We also offer as a treatment option, where suitable the clear Invisalign System, and other options such as the Inman Aligner for very rapid alignment of anterior teeth (3 – 6 months).
VENEERS/CROWNS Full crowing of teeth has long been a treatment option however, veneering the facial surface of teeth by bonding on fine porcelain veneers to improve the aesthetics is a modern development. This is a facet of dental cosmetics in which Dr. Ó Droma has extensive experience- since they first became available in 1985 he's provided thousands of veneers for satisfied patients. Our very best quality called Chameleon Fortress veneers are the most aesthetic and cost €700 each, but we also do excellent Da Vinci type ones for €570 each. They all come with a solid 5 year guarantee against chipping and cracking. We can of course negotiate on that figure for multiple teeth.
TOOTH WHITENING In addition to the usual take home whitening we do in-house–Rod Kurthy Whitening Deep Bleaching – ( ) and instant whitening using the latest and safest (i.e. no damaging U.V.) power whitening laser machine from Germany called Beyond Plus
FACIAL TREATMENTS We do various facial skin care treatment using various types of dermal fillers and muscle relaxant solution that eliminates that ‘furrowed brow’!
OTHER TREATMENTS Other treatments include endodontics/root canal treatment for front and back teeth, white fillings, bridgework, dentures of various types, children’s dentistry including orthodontics, sleep aponea treatment, oral surgery incl. wisdom tooth extractions and of course all routine treatments incl. hygienist's treatment.
