Were you pleased with the treatment?
Good geriatric care in terms of treatment. Well maintained facility. Experienced doctor. The assistant doctor is friendly and caring. They are high tech and even take patient photos to store in their database along with all dental records.
For middle income group people like me - the cost is exorbitant. Instead of endorsing a toothpaste costing Rs.1050/- ,to patients, if they could recommend cost effective and cheaper medication it would be easy on us too. I also felt that a doctor would do well to give the patient some time to decide when they can commence treatment, the cost implications etc. rather than having to make a spot decision. For retired old people like me- it could cause a huge dent in our meagre monthly budget.
The assisting girls - could show more restraint in their eagerness to peek, comment and whisper while the patient is being examined. It is very unnerving to have to face a group of inquisitive girls while on the dentist's chair.
On the positive note, they have another branch exclusively for X-Ray called the "punnagai" . It is located in the 7th Avenue of Ashok nagar. It is efficiently managed by 2 girls.

1.The Xray centre does not belong to our Hospital management.Its just a tie up for our radiodiagnostic services which is close by to our Hospital.
2.The Toothpaste prescribed is a Remineralising medicated toothpaste specifically meant for Caries prevention and Remineralisation and not just an anti-sensitive toothpaste.
3.It's an Internationally acclaimed toothpaste imported through proper channels by their company in India and given conveniently to the patient and it is not sold OTC in outside pharmacy.
4.We follow the prescription protocol based on IDA,ADA, and CAMBRA guidelines.
5.Finally Our Treatment PRicelist has already been displayed in the Whatclinic.com website.However the actual treatment cost will be confirmed and decided only after a thorough clinical examination done in our clinic.
