About Dental Services Hungary

Over 40 years of professional experience in aesthetic dentistry and implantation dentistry.

We make computer-controlled implant-supported bridges.

In recent years, more and more patients have come to require All on Four (the fastest way to non-removable dentures). The demand for 3D-navigated implantation has caused this development. The planning program enables the virtual positioning of the implants in 3D.

On the basis of the plan, a template will be 3D printed. It makes possible static navigation for Implant placement.

The dynamic navigation offers the possibility of the immediate visualization of the implant handpiece and drills along with a CBCT 3D image .

He provides excellent advice and treatment on what needs to be done

4.5 50 Fillings, Dental Crowns

I have been visiting Professor Szabo for years now and can only say he is the best dentist I have ever come across. He provides excellent advice and treatment on what needs to be done. I had all my fillings and caps replaced with him and now will be returning to have two implants - excellent value for money. Gentle kind dentists too because I am generally terrified of them. A beautiful relaxing location which helps with the recovery.

Simply would not use anyone else for our dental treatment and check ups

5 50 Dental Bridges, Dental Implants, Zirconia Crown

My husband and I have now been visiting Professor Szabo from Scotland for 10 years. We cannot recommend his services enough. Between us we have had bridge, implant and zirconium crowns. He is top quality, with an amazing surgery in beautiful Heviz and a friendly and knowledgeable staff team. Simply would not use anyone else for our dental treatment and check ups.

So comfortable in what they do that there is not a single doubt that they are among the best

5 50 Dentist Consultation

I have not been to a dentist for decades. At least not for 20 years. Something had to happen, but there was never a real reason. When it came I realised that I better take it a bit more serious.

I have been to Heviz a number of times to visit the Professor. I have always been impressed. His work is professional and he (or his son) are so comfortable in what they do that there is not a single doubt that they are among the best.

Now I actually enjoy being in Heviz to visit the professor and also the many excellent restaurants (before treatment of course; as it is usually slightly more difficult afterwards).

Dear Marcellus, Thank you for your positive opinion send about us. I hope you are well. Best regards, Prof.Dr. Janos Szabo

He is a class above any I have visited before and considerably cheaper

5 50 Dental Implants • Paid: 333910 Ft

I visited Professor Janos for an implant. He has the most marvellous equipment and after a Cat Scan, he told me it would be beneficial to have a bridge. I am usually terrified of the dentists but he was so gentle and caring it put me immediately at ease. I do not think I will ever use the dentists in the UK again as he is a class above any I have visited before and considerably cheaper. I would recommend him and his dental service to anyone. I only had 4 days to have the work needed to be done and he worked very hard and managed to do it for me. I can not thank him enough and if the circumstances arise I will definitely go back,
thank you again.

Bone Graft

Bone grafts, sinus lift

The loss of teeth causes the recession of the alveolar bone due to functional inactivity. In the case of bone loss, bone grafts might be necessary before the placement of implants.

Bone grafts are needed if the alveolar ridge is partially or totally lost. The substitution of bone can be made using different materials: own bone, human bone, bovine bone and synthetic bone. They are available as granulates and blocks in different sizes. The gold standard of bone grafting is the own bone of the patients. This type of grafting gives the best results and it is the cheapest, but the disadvantage of this method is the operation both at the donor and recipient site. Therefore other methods are more popular. To facilitate the integration of the graft, special proteins can be used.

Sinus lift is a special case of bone grafting. This treatment creates more bone mass at the bottom of maxillary sinus contributing to the stability of the implant. By using this method implants can be placed into the molar area.

Zirconia Crown

Crowns

Zirconium crown is the best choice when it comes to stability, beauty, and tissue-friendly material.

Zirconium crowns and bridges are metal-free restorations made from zirconium oxide and they meet the highest aesthetic requirements with porcelain veneering. They are perfect for implant anchored restoration. The zirconium frame with porcelain layer on it are individually shaped, and are the same colour as the natural tooth. Zirconium crown and zirconium bridge can be made without porcelain veneering, with painting process / Prettau Anterior Zircon /

Zirconium frames, crowns and bridges are manufactured using CAD / CAM (Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacturing) technology. This method provides high precision and allows the creation of perfect personalized forms. In contrast to the veneer, the crown is suitable for correcting major tooth deformations. We use it versatilely. They are suitable for replacing missing teeth anchored on implants. If we need to replace two or more missing teeth, we can create a bridge to div the gap using the neighbouring teeth or implants as abutment. Crowns are irreplacable tools for complex aesthetic treatments because they are not only suitable for single or multiple teeth but can also be used for the replacement of the complete dentition. Crowns and bridges made for the entire arches are also suitable for bite correction and face rejuvenation.

Dental Implants

Implantation

The best way to replace lost teeth is implantation. There is no other form of restoration of lost teeth which will reconstruct the sensation of natural teeth. The material of the implants is biocompatible, replaces the root of the tooth and is firmly fixed in the jaw. For the  implants The osteointegration of the implants (fixation of bone on the implant surface) secures the stability against chewing pressure.

If a tooth is lost, replacement is recommended, as soon as possible. If we wait with the restoration, bone loss is inevitable and delay of the implant placement will result in loss of the bone mass. The best way to restore the lost tooth is the immediate implantation (in the same session, straight after extraction or within at 4 months after the extraction of the tooth. The surface of the implants contains specially designed microscopical pores that can be occupied by the growing bone cells.

Crowns and bridges can be fitted on the implants, which is called the loading of the implants. The fixation of implant-prosthetic rehabilitation can be carried out by screws (screw retained crown), or with adhesive material (cement- retained crown). Even the removable prosthesis is more stable if it is supported by the fixed implants (implant retained dentures). In the case of edentulism, implant-prosthetic rehabilitation provides an aesthetically pleasing and functionally efficient rehabilitation of the mouth, transforming the patient's smile and appearance improving their quality of life.

Fillings

Fillings

Carious teeth are treated by fillings. The  fillings can be made from solid material / Inlay, Onlay / or plastic material /composite/. It is important to treat the caries at an early stage, in order to prevent the inflammation of the pulp.

Gum Grafting

Operations on the gum for aesthetic purposes are listed below. If a large part of the crown of the teeth is covered with gums, we call it a gummy smile. We are talking about gum asymmetry is the gum covers different proportions of the neighboring teeth. To achieve an ideal gumline correction is done by excision and the addition of gum tissues. The gum area between the teeth is called papilla. If the gum fills too large area or leaves a large gap between teeth, surgical correction is required. Either papillectomy (removal of papilla) or papilla reconstruction is needed

Root Canals

Root canal treatments, root canal fillings /Endodontics/

Inside of every teeth, a soft tissue called pulp can be found containing nerves and blood vessels. If the pulp is inflamed it can not swell because of the surrounding hard walls. As a consequence, the tissue pressure will increase strangulating blood circulation. Due to the increasing pressure, the pain receptors of the pulp are irritated, causing throbbing pain. The decrease in pain is the sign of the loss of vitality of the pulp. The dead tissues have no immune response, so the bacteria can multiply and can cause inflammation at the tip of the root in the periapical tissues. Periapical inflammation can be acute or chronic. After a prolonged period of inflammation, a periapical cyst can develop. At this stage, the inflammation spreads from the tooth to the surrounding tissues and without treatment, serious conditions such as periostitis, abscess, osteomyelitis, phlegmon can occur. The pulpitis and its secondary diseases are treated with endodontic methods: removal of the pulp, cleaning and shaping the pulp chamber and the root canals, disinfection and root canal filling.

Teeth Whitening

Tooth whitening

Tooth whitening is a form of an aesthetic treatment in which a lighter shade is obtained than the shade of the patient's teeth. There are two groups: home and in-surgery whitening. Since October 2012, the legal limit of the strength of peroxide for tooth whitening is 6% in the European Union. This concentration is not sufficient for rapid teeth whitening in the surgery. It is used for home whitening for weeks to achieve the desired result.

New Regulations for Tooth Whitening came into force on 31st Oct 2012

A new European Council Directive which regulates the use of hydrogen peroxide - the chemical used in tooth whitening products – comes into force from today (Wednesday 31st Oct).

Tooth whitening products containing more than 6% of hydrogen peroxide are now illegal and their sale is prohibited, while tooth whitening is restricted to those over 18 years of age

Veneers

Veneers

Veneers are thin porcelain or zirconium layers that are bonded on the supragingival surface of the teeth. The preparation of the veneer is actually the removal of the outer 0,5-1 mm surface layer of the enamel which is followed by a special impression. The veneer is made in the dental laboratory based on the model.

Teeth before the treatment

Teeth after the removal of 0.5-1 mm outer enamel layer

After the treatment: the veneers in place

Spotted enamel before the treatment

Mildly crowded lower anterior teeth before the treatment

A beautiful smile after fitting of the veneers

Advantages of veneers

• they close the gaps

• they correct the shade of the teeth

they correct the shape of the teeth

they are very thin therefore they require only minor enamel preparation

Disadvantages of veneers

they are made in two sessions: first session preparation and impression, second session fitting

they are very thin, the incisor edges are particularly fragile

they are only suitable for caries free and non-restored teeth

they are only able to correct minor morphological problems

they are unable to correct the rotation of teeth, to elevate the bite, to correct the inclination of the teeth
