Hungary Dental Implant - Budapest

I lost all my upper teeth when I was a child and had always wanted permanently fixed teeth to enhance my confidence.
After much research on the Internet, I came across Hungary 4u and arranged to meet with their UK Representative to gain more information on suitable procedures available to me.
He was extremely approachable, friendly and informative and talked me through treatments best suited for me.

As my upper bone proved to be rather soft, from previous x-rays, it was suggested I opt for the ‘4 on one’ procedure, which consists of 4 implants inserted in the bone and then a small denture-type structure, with required teeth, slotted into the Implants.
They are fully fixed but can be removed for cleaning purposes.
After agreeing to go ahead with the treatment, he then arranged all my Flights, Hotel and Transfers to alleviate the stress of making my plans and I was kept up to date with my dental dates and what treatment was planned for each day.

I needed two visits to Budapest with a 4-month interval in between to allow for the gums and bone to strengthen after the initial appointment.
The hotel was just yards from the Surgery, so very easy to find and the Manager, Staff and Dental Surgeon were all very welcoming and professional in their work.

I am very pleased with the completed work and with a minimum of discomfort, and I would highly recommend this Company, whose prices are very favourable in comparison to UK costs.
The whole process was extremely easy and I was well looked after and kept up to date at every step.

Very pleased I went to this clinic I was really frightened but Dr. Damjanovich and his team calmed me down.

They did a great job on my implants, and Viktor was a great help in the UK, and also in Budapest, I've only got my temporary teeth but they look great and comfortable.

Normally I don't have a habit of writing any feedback reviews for any business, whether the service I received was good or bad. However, I am willing to write down my feelings here.

Thank Mr Victor and Mr Gabor very much for their thoughtful, responsible and pragmatic arrangements. I am very grateful to Dr Laszlo for his excellent medical skill and warm service. My treatment process and results did not deviate from the plan they originally provided, and everything basically went smoothly and was completed as planned.

A tooth that had to be extracted cost me a lot of time looking for a trustworthy dental implant clinic. I feel lucky to chose this clinic. Not only did I successfully complete the dental implant, I also unexpectedly visited Budapest and Vienna - which were not on my travel list at all. In my spare time outside of medical appointments, I visited all the attractions recommended by Victor, including New York Cafe. In addition, I also visited Vienna - enjoying the historical and cultural heritage left to this country during the royal rule.

So far I haven't felt sick. However, I believe that even if there are subsequent questions, I can still contact Voctor for consultation and resolution.

I’m only partway through my treatment but I can gladly report that everything is going well.

I’ve been having issues with my upper front teeth for many years. My four front teeth had been crowned 20 years ago and three of those four were posted crowns. Over time due to gum shrinkage, they all started to become unstable.
I knew I needed implants but I was not willing to let my UK dental practice do the work because they were far too expensive.
I contacted a few dental practices in Budapest to see what they could do for me and I decided to go with this dental practice mainly because of the help and guidance I received from their UK contact Viktor.

Initially, Viktor asked me to send him a panoramic X-ray scan of my teeth and jawline. The dental team in Budapest assessed my scan and a few days later Viktor came back to me with some treatment plan options. Please note that all treatment options included a clear and accurate breakdown of costs.
Viktor gave me a step-by-step guide of what to expect when I arrived in Budapest and he really made me feel at ease.
He scheduled my dental appointments and arranged all of my transportation to and from the airport. He was also willing to help me with hotel accommodation but I decided to do that myself only because I had recently visited Budapest on a city break and wanted to stop in an Airbnb apartment I was familiar with.

When I arrived in Budapest I went to the dental clinic and met up with the Budapest contact Gabor. Like Viktor, he was a really nice guy who was very helpful.
I went with Gabor for a CT scan and this was then assessed by Dr Laszlo Damjanovich.
I had a consultation with Dr Damjanovich that afternoon and I agreed with him the treatment I required.
The following day I returned to the clinic and had my four front teeth removed and implants fitted. My gum was stitched up neatly and I can honestly say it went really really well with minimal pain.
I also had some preparation work done on my canine teeth to support a 6 tooth temporary bridge.
I was given some antibiotics and also a pain relief kit. I had two painkillers that evening but only as a precautionary measure. The following day my gum was a little bit sore but I didn’t need to take any pain relief.
Later that week I went back to the clinic and the extremely talented Dr Damjanovich fitted a wonderful six-tooth temporary bridge onto my canine teeth. The colour match of this bridge is fantastic.
So to finish this long story off I’ll be going back there next year to have my temporary bridge removed and then they will fit the new front teeth abutments and zirconium crowns onto my implants. I will also have my canine teeth crowned.
So far I can’t thank them enough for what they have done for me.
They never tried to pressure me into doing unnecessary work and I can’t praise them enough for their care and attention to detail.

I was overdue to see a dentist due to being scared. I needed lots of work doing, trying to find a dentist is impossible in England.
So I started looking at going to Hungary for treatment and settled for
Hungary 4U, Jokai surgery.

They didn't have the biggest website and they weren't pushy plus they have backup if needed in the UK.
Viktor in London was so helpful and arranged treatment times and kept me informed as to what would be done in Budapest and what it would cost....which was very reasonable and far cheaper than the UK.

I had 5 extractions, bone grafts and 8 implants done by Dr Laszlo in one session under general anaesthetic
I had some swelling and bruising but overall only dull ache rather than lots of pain
Gabor ( General manager ) and Dr Laszlo kept me fully informed during my treatment, they were friendly and relaxed but also very professional. I wish I had gone to them years ago!

Excellent service

I am probably the worst nervous patient on the planet.

I have a serious fear of needles and if I see one, then I am out of the chair and gone, but after reading previous reviews, I explained my situation and put my trust in the dental team and from start to finish, the whole experience was one that I would gladly repeat again tomorrow.

Viktor (based in the uk) was my initial contact/co-ordinator and he steered me through the process ahead and explained and arranged everything from my initial x-rays & tests required, to my flights & accommodation for my stay in Budapest.
The level of service in the UK was professional, comprehensive and most of all, reassuring.

As I was having major work done, I opted for I.V. sedation and the process of having all my own teeth removed, a bone transplant and 11 implants fitted, was professional and surprisingly pain free when I woke up and I didn't need the painkillers supplied, even though I had a mouthfull of stitches.

The Dentist & his team were patient and the level of work was first class. By the time I went back to have the temporary teeth fitted, I had no fear at all and the fitting was pain free and it felt good to be in the hands of such a talented Dentist & his team.

The advice given to see me through the coming 4 months was good and the aftercare calls during my stay and even back here in the UK have been wonderfull.


The accommodation was excellent and I am looking forward to returning for my final fitting later this year. The city itself is an ideal short break/holiday destination with an abundance of things to see and do. The architecture is stunning and the city is so clean compared to London. A visit to the New York Cafe is highly recommended.

I cannot recommend Jokai Dental highly enough, it has changed my life.

Had a very complicated situation with my entire mouth; I was looking to travel from the US, get implant surgery, and travel back to the US in a short amount of time.
I had been doing research for weeks before finally finding this website and the listed clinic.

I feel very lucky I was connected with Victor, so must say BIG THANK YOU to him! He guided and supported me so well through the entirety of the trip! Answered all my million questions personally over the phone and emails, and then connected me to the doctor in Budapest clinic. He was very knowledgeable of the process and it put me at ease when he was able to explain the procedures step-by-step. He scheduled all appointments with the doctor and even airport transportation to/from on the day I arrived. He called me 2 days ahead of the flight to make sure I had the procedure schedule and a place to stay in Budapest. I felt totally at ease going for treatment in another country, where I have never been before, and I do not speak one single word of Hungarian!

I had a wonderful time. They really looked after me and I cannot believe that I experienced NO PAIN at all, even after the effects of the injection and tablets wore off. I am beyond impressed. Following my treatment, I went for a leisurely walk along the banks of the Danube, in the sunshine, then I had a lovely meal in one of the many restaurants.

I am really looking forward to the completion of my treatment in the New Year when I will get to spend another 5 days in this beautiful city. I am already planning my activities!

I highly recommend Dr Meyer and his staff, everyone I dealt with was kind, calming and very professional. Dr Meyer is an absolute genius and such a kind, gentle and considerate man, who puts you instantly at ease. I had 5 dental implants which required a sinus lift and bone augmentation and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back if I needed more. Everything was arranged for me by Victor in England and Annette in Budapest and the whole experience was superb. I really can’t sing their praises high enough. Fantastic!

I had new crowns fitted to all teeth, upper and lower, and also two lower teeth extracted. Prior to the treatment my teeth had become extremely worn down due to bruxism (acute teeth grinding), and were also very discoloured.

I have nothing but high praise for everyone involved in my treatment and the build-up to it. The point of contact in London is a wonderful gentleman, who talked me through every step of my treatment plan and explained in-depth what would happen. He kept in regular contact with me, arranged airport transfers, visas/permits, COVID testing, and even drew up a list of places of interest to visit during my stay. His customer service could not have been any better. Hugely impressive.

Once in Budapest, the care given by the staff at the dental surgery was, again, second-to-none. The reception staff were very polite and warm. The practice manager was also very warm and polite and helped with any queries I had.

The dental surgeon was exceptional. His attitude, personality, and humour put me at ease (and I am usually petrified of the dentist) and ensured that I was relaxed during all procedures. He spoke fluent English (and even has a practice in England), so I was able to understand every step of what he was doing, and also to select the shade and shape of the crowns, which brought incredible peace of mind.

The final product: wow - I cannot believe how my new teeth look! They are absolutely perfect, and every family member/friend/colleague is astonished at how natural the shape and colour are. It's a cliche, but I cannot stop smiling (or looking at them). I could not have wished for them to be any better - and I absolutely mean that. My self-confidence has gone skyward.

What really impressed me also was that the surgery would not take a penny in payment until the crowns were fitted and they were sure that I was happy. Nowhere else anywhere would offer that. That is how confident the surgeon is with his work.
