About Nicosia Dental Polyclinic

We created a pleasant and comfortable ambience adhered to the strictest hygiene requirements. A research centre will operate at the polyclinic serving the continuously developing dental science. We will often invite professors from different dental schools to exchange with us opinions and experience on different topics. Our goal is to provide a high standard dental care for all our patients. Born in Nicosia in 1965, son of the founder of the Nicosia Dental Polyclinic Dr George Taramides studied in Germany and received his diploma from the Albert-Ludwig-University of Freiburg in 1991. He specialized as a periodontist and prosthodontist in Sweden for 3 years and achieved his Masters degree from the Lund University in Sweden in 1994. He has attended in various implantology workshops and clinical trials in Sweden. He is the president of the Cyprus Periodontal Society, since 1999 and member of the European Periodontal Association. He loves the piano and poetry and he is an amateur photographer.

After qualifying as a dental nurse at King's College Hospital London, she held the post of senior dental nurse in the periodontal therapy unit. She later worked for an industrial company in their dental unit before deciding to train as a dental hygienist. She completed her dental hygiene training at Guy's Hospital London and then took the post of staff hygienist at the Royal London Hospital, working within the Maxillofacial and Periodontal Unit. After several years in general practice she emigrated to Cyprus. When her son went to primary school she returned to work in private practice and has continued to work ever since.
