Habijanac Perio

DDS, Dip Perio, MSc, FRCD (c). She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Alberta in the year 2000. She further completed her specialty training in Periodontics at the University of British Columbia in 2004. She then returned to her hometown of Calgary in 2004 to begin full time private practice in periodontics and dental implants. She has been a member of a variety of organizations, including a 6-year term as a board member for the Calgary & District Dental Society (including the position as president), past member and lecturer for the New & Younger Dentists of Calgary Study Club, and ongoing membership in local and national societies such as the Canadian and Alberta Academy of Periodontics, and the American Academy of Periodontics. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, and remains active while cycling, windsurfing, skiing and running.

He graduated from the University of Alberta in 1969 with his Degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.). He then practiced general dentistry until 1980, after which he pursued his graduate studies at the University of Southern California, obtaining his certification as a Periodontist in 1982. He opened up his periodontal practice at the present Calgary location in June 1982. Since 1982 he has developed an interest in many facets of periodontal care with a special interest in microscope enhanced periodontal microsurgery. He had the privilege of providing clinical instruction at the University of British Columbia graduate periodontal program for a period of 4 years. His greatest joy at this stage in life, in addition to working with his daughter, involves his marriage to Pam (married 46 years) and spending time with his five lovely grandchildren.
