Quaba Plastic Surgery

Having contemplated surgery for a really long time due to having a medical condition called thrombocytopenia, I finally decided the time was right and had a consultation with Mr Awf Quaba. From initial email enquiry, to consultation and surgery, the entire process was absolutely faultless and I was made to feel extremely reassured throughout the entire process.

Due to my thrombocytopenia the procedure was far more complex than a standard mastopexy procedure as I required a platelet transfusion before and after surgery along with an overnight stay in hospital, a number of consultants and nurses were involved in this process and I honestly can’t thank them all enough.

My safety and care was absolutely paramount and I felt this from everyone who was involved in my care. I am absolutely delighted with the outcome and cannot thank everyone involved enough. I would highly recommend Mr Awf Quaba to anyone considering cosmetic surgery

My surgery was to remove my breast implants. This procedure was carried out by Mr Quaba and the results have been amazing. He has given me very natural breasts and by using fat transfer they have kept both volume and shape and more in keeping with my body frame. If you are considering removing breast implants I can highly recommend this procedure carried out by Mr Quaba. Both Mr Quaba and his team are amazing and the treatment and care you get before, during and after your surgery is above and beyond.

I decided at the age of 50 to have breast implants and was recommended Mr Awf Quaba who specialised in this field. My operation took place at the Murrayfield Spire and I was well looked after before and after my operation.

Unfortunately, 4 years on I was getting breast implant illness symptoms, I was in a lot of discomfort in the breast area, had hair thinning, anxiety, ocular migraine headaches and development an autoimmune disease which had to be treated by Prednisolone. After reading about BII I decided in 2021 to see Mr Quaba once again to get his advice. I must say he was very understanding and told me the pros and cons of getting a full capsulectomy which removes the implants and capsules surrounding them.

In October 2021 I was booked into the Shawfair Spire Hospital and Mr Quaba performed by full capsulectomy which was very successful. 6 months down the line I am feeling so much better with no breast pain, hair has got thicker and no ocular migraine headaches. I am also down to 2mg of steriods and my neck and shoulder pain has almost gone with my scars hardly visible.

I can honestly say Mr Quaba has looked after me so well and I would highly recommend anyone who is considering explant surgery to seek advice from such a professional. These are not cheap procedures but all in all it was well worth the money to get my health back!

My Quaba is an experienced plastic surgeon who knows exactly how to help people and make them feel confident about the surgery. He is like an artist when it comes to his work and he is a lovely person who listens to what you want and need then works with you to get to the goal. The nurses and staff at Spire are friendly and so caring. One nurse in particular I think her name is Cecilia who removed the cast and stitches was absolutely amazing! She was friendly, and professional and made me feel so safe and happy in such a nerve-racking situation. She explained everything in detail and made light conversation to ensure I was distracted. Taking the job seriously but making it fun and safe is really a talent and shows how nice a person she is! So far recovering from the nose job has been easy with the support of Spire and Mr Quaba;s team and looking forward to the future with my new nose.

I had a direct lateral brow lift by Mr Quaba and the result is simply fabulous. The technique allows perfect precision in the shaping and lifting of the brow at least based on my own experience.

Before the procedure, however, I had been quite nervous about the scarring that I feared could occur from having a direct lateral brow lift. But even immediately upon the stitches being removed, the ultra-thin scars were already barely visible and became less so over the months.

The barely-there scars faded essentially completely in less than 9 months. I am truly delighted with the results.

Could not recommend Dr.Quaba Snr enough. I had a mastopexy and small implant carried out in one surgery as only wanted to undergo one anaesthetic. I only wish I had done this years ago. My friends all say they are the most natural-looking breasts and I couldnt agree more, both in look and touch. An absolutely first-class surgeon who really understands you as a patient and understands exactly what you are looking for.

Breast reduction surgery- from the start I felt I was in professional hands, Dr. Omar Quaba explained everything in detail, I felt listened and despite Covid they did everything in their power to schedule my surgery without a long delay. Fantastic treatment. Mr Quaba took the time to listen and understand my concerns and explained the neck and brow lift procedures in detail. From my first consultation right through to the surgery and aftercare I felt completely safe in his hands and the quality of surgery and medical care was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Mr Quaba I feel very comfortable, carried out a thorough assessment of my concerns. He sat and took the time needed to go through all of my options, answering every question I had clearly and didn't care if I needed him to go over things a few times to ensure I understood completely.

I never once felt my appointment was rushed or pressurised into booking surgery, quite the opposite. Mr Quaba told me to go away and consider everything we had spoken about and if I had any concerns we could meet again free of charge for a follow-up consultation.

I had visited another surgeon to discuss my issues a couple of years ago and didn't proceed as didn't feel they really listened or understood my concerns hence two years later I'm no further forward. However, Mr Quaba totally understood from the moment I started explaining. I know I feel comfortable progressing this time, I just need to consider the options discussed.
