David has over 30 years experience in cosmetic surgery, mostly as a board Director of some of the countrys largest private medical groups. David now provides help and assistance to those looking for cosmetic surgery and bariatric surgery procedures , useing his extensive experience and network of contacts to guide clients through the maze and to help them make the right choices for them. This service is completely free of charge at all times.

David is joined by Debbie Mills, a Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years experience in the Cosmetic Surgery sector. She has appeared in numerous TV and Radio programmes about cosmetic surgery including Cosmetic Surgery Live on Channel Five and The Clinic on Channel Four.

Biography:

Dr Majid Hashemi is a very well know and highly regarded Bariatric Surgeon based in London. He is credited with being the innovator of the first multi disaplinary obesity clinics in the United Kingdom.

He has performed over 600 obesity surgery procedures to date. This is testament to his experience in this field. He also lectures on procedures to other Doctors and Surgeons to broaden knowledge about this crucial area of medicine.

Dr Hashemi has considerable experience in laparascopic procedures. This work has taken him to the middle east, demonstrating his work in this ever expaning area of surgery. At present there are a number of projects to which Dr Hashemi offers guidance and support in terms of research into gasric reflux pathology. In his efforts to promote the importance and value of obesity surgery, Dr Hashemi frequently contributes to media articles on the topic.

Dr Hashemi began his career in medicine by training in Manchester. He obtained his medical degree in 1988. From there he went on to gain his fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1993.

He went on to acheive his fellowship in 1993 , working along the way in the world renowned Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge.

Between 1997 and 1998 Dr Hashimi spent time with Professor Demeester in the United States of America. Then in 2001 he was appointed Consultant and Senior Lecturer.
After six years as the Bariatric lead in Whittington Hospital he moved on to join the University College Hospital in London. This gave Dr Hashemi the opportunity to further his career as a Bariatric Surgeon together with being the lead in gastric and oesophageal surgery.
Dr Hashemi is passionate about obesity surgery and this shows in his commitment to Patients and the dedication to improving the procedures available to the wider general public.
