Mr Vijh received his training in London and passed the Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) examination in 1988.

After a formal training program in general surgery, he achieved the distinction of becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of both England and Edinburgh in 1992.

Mr Vik Vijh began his career in plastic surgery with a two-and-a-half-year period of research into wound healing and scar management. Following this, Mr Vik Vijh worked as a plastic surgeon in hospitals throughout London as part of a formal and intensive training program. This program was interrupted for six months when Mr Vik Vijh undertook a formal plastic surgery fellowship to enhance and augment his skills, and complete his training as a reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgeon. This culminated in his acceptance as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery in September 2002

Having been Managing Director of Cosmetic Surgery for a group of 42 UK private hospitals Mr Vijh is now Programme Director of The Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship at The Priory Hospital.

Born in Rome and educated in Italy and Brazil, Mr Giannitrapani graduated at the University of Rome La Sapienza in 2001, majoring in Reconstructive and Plastic Surgery.

Mr Giannitrapani attended the Plastic Surgery School of Verona University, Italy where he carried out further specialist training in Reconstructive and Plastic Surgery.

In 2008, Mr Giannitrapani studied new techniques for Rhinoplasty with two of the most important Brazilian surgeons for nose reshaping: Dr. Volney Pitombo and Dr. Alan Landecker.

Andrea undertakes a wide range of cosmetic surgery procedures including Breast surgery (Augmentation, Uplift, Reduction), Abdominoplasty, Liposculpture, Blepharoplasty, Otoplasty and Rhinoplasty.

He has worked all over the world including Brazil and Italy, and has worked within the UK since 2008.

He is registered with the General Medical Council Specialist Register as a trained surgeon in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery

He has worked for Surgicare since 2009.

Mrs Dancey has been trained in all areas of aesthetic plastic surgery by some of the most highly acclaimed Cosmetic Surgeons in the UK, and is a member of the British Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (BAPRAS). She is well published, being the author of over 30 papers and several prestigious book chapters, and is regularly asked to peer review articles for the major international plastic surgery journals. Whilst she performs the full repertoire of plastic procedures, her special interest lies in aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery.

She had the privilege of completing a 6 month fellowship at the world renowned breast reconstruction unit in Gent, Belgium, focusing primarily on the latest techniques in microvascular free-flap and aesthetic breast surgery. Whilst Mrs Dancey has worked with Surgicare Medical Group since 2011 she also carries out work as an NHS consultant at The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Birmingham.

Mr Alan Li graduated from the University Of Bristol Medical School and undertook his surgical training in Leeds/Yorkshire and in Scotland.

During his time in Yorkshire he was the University of Leeds Medical School Tutor in Surgery followed by a 3 year period as a Clinical Training and Research Fellow for the Medical Research Council and the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Having completed his specialist registration he undertook a travelling fellowship to the National Cancer Centre Hospital in Tokyo to pursue his specialist interest in endoscopic and surgical techniques for cancer of the stomach and oesophagus.

He was then the Senior Clinical Fellow in upper GI and laparoscopic surgery at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, Australia during which time he developed his practice in thoracoscopic and laparoscopic oesophageal and gastric cancer surgery.

He was a Consultant Surgeon in the Mersey region prior to taking up a position at the Manchester Royal Infirmary where he offers a minimal access surgical service for patients requesting obesity surgery, those with benign and malignant conditions of the oesophagus and stomach and across a wide range of general surgery conditions including a keyhole surgery approach to all types of hernia.

Mr Li currently holds the position as Oesophago-Gastric Cancer Lead for the MRI and continues his research interests in upper GI cancer and gastro-oesophageal reflux disease and continues to publish in this field.

He currently holds a position as a Royal College of Surgeons instructor on courses for Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Care of the Critically Ill Surgical Patient (CCRISP) and Basic Surgical Skills (BSS).

He is on the committee for the Skills and Simulation Education Centre at the MRI and is a member of the North West Region Surgical Simulation Working Group for Education.

Mr Li has worked for Surgicare since 2008. He one of our expert surgeons for obesity surgery.

Surgicare Medical Group are proud to retain the services of Ms Carol Lloyd, who also worked for the former Surgicare Ltd since 2008. Carol has been a registered Nurse since 1991 and is also a Nurse Prescriber giving her the authority to prescribe and treat using Non Surgical Products such as Botox ™ and fillers.

Carol qualified as a Registered Nurse in 1991 and specialised in caring for terminally ill patients, for 10 years. Recognising the need for high standard in this specific area, she studied and qualified as an NVQ Assessor in Health and Social Care, delivering training and guidance to Healthcare Assistants.

In 2001 Carol opened her own beauty clinic and began practicing within the medical aesthetics industry, during this time she also trained as a beauty therapist to enhance her skincare knowledge and expertise.

Over the past six years, she has worked as an Aesthetic Practitioner for a number of health and beauty organisations and was a trainer for Q-Med, one of the leading manufacturers within the aesthetic industry, delivering one-to-one training in dermal fillers to Doctors and Nurses. Carol possesses a validation by Allergan, the manufacturers of Botox™ as an experienced practitioner.

In 2007, she attended Huddersfield University and gained 30 points at Masters Level, as a Nurse Independent Prescriber.
