In order to become a Aesthetic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, Dr. Tokat underwent years of intensive training and surgical residency after completing medical school. He is a highly qualified well trained surgeon with skills.

After successfully completing six years of Medical school at the Ankara University School of Medicine, he successfully completed six years of residency training in Aesthetic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Ege University Hospital in Izmir, Turkey. During his residency, he worked on basic plastic surgery, hand surgery, reconstructive microsurgery and craniofacial surgery. He participated in the team of Ege Organ Transplantation and took part in more than 100 of living donor liver transplantations in his residency training at general surgery. He also participated in courses of Breast Surgery in Milano, Microsurgery in Heidelberg and Bucharest, Rhinoplasty and Aesthetics in Turkey. He has published 16 papers about plastic surgery in worldclass medical journals, and 23 papers in different special congresses.

After having completed her degree in Ege University Faculty of Dentistry in 1994, Dr. Funda Erciyas Baraz has worked at the dentistry departments of many different state hospitals in Turkey whilst she ran her private clinic at the same time.  Since 2005, She has been working as a full-time private clinic dentist in Izmir.
