I went to IM gender clinic in December to undergo chest masculinization as a transmasculine person.I was guided through the process by the wonderful Aida, who as an international patient (from the UK) was so helpful in making sure all my questions were answered and I was at ease going into the surgery. My surgeon was Dr Labanca who treated me with great professionalism, compassion and expertise throughout. I was very grateful for the detailed discussion we had around the outcomes of different approaches, eventually opting for a double incision with free nipple grafts. This high quality of care ran throughout, with excellent pre-operative counselling, world-class surgery, and continued post-operative care. The facilities are phenomenal and every member of staff made me feel well looked after - even the food is good.
