Review Dr Doucas was very understanding when I was diagnosed with breast cancer and was looking for someone to do a mastectomy on me, having been given his number I went to see him, thinking he was a general surgeon but he put me in touch with a colleague and the following week I had the mastectomy, which was needed and Dr Doucas made a point of being there to do immediate reconstruction without using a skin expander, which he knew I was not keen on.
